EOTech Vudu 8-32x50

• 8-32x magnification range: The wide zoom span gives this riflescope the flexibility to move from careful load development and mid-distance target work to precise long-range shot placement without changing optics.
• 50 mm objective lens: A larger objective helps maintain a usable image as magnification rises, which matters when aiming at small targets or reading mirage and bullet trace at distance.
• Second focal plane HC2 reticle: The reticle stays visually consistent through the zoom range, making it easy to pick up at low power while still offering a familiar holdover pattern for medium- to long-range shooting.
• 0.125 MOA precision turrets: Fine click values support exact zeroing and small corrections, which is especially useful for benchrest, F-class, and other disciplines where tiny point-of-impact changes matter.
• 34 mm tube with sealed, nitrogen-filled construction: The larger tube supports a robust build, while waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction helps the scope stay dependable across changing weather and repeated recoil.

About the EOTech Vudu Series

The EOTech Vudu series was introduced in 2016 as the company’s magnified-optics line for shooters who need more reach and more precise adjustment than a non-magnified sight can provide. Within EOTECH’s lineup, Vudu sits as a premium family aimed at precision shooting, competition, tactical use, and big-game hunting, with models built around practical field durability rather than oversized dimensions.

Across the range, Vudu riflescopes use single-piece aircraft-grade aluminum tubes with anodized finishes, plus nitrogen purging and O-ring sealing to keep the optics ready for hard use in poor weather. The series includes both first focal plane and second focal plane configurations, allowing shooters to choose between constant reticle subtensions for dialing and holds, or a reticle image that stays visually consistent through the magnification range. EOTECH also offers glass-etched reticles in MOA, MRAD, and Horus-based layouts, with selected models adding illuminated aiming points. The result is a riflescope family designed around repeatable mechanics, clear glass, and reticle choices that match different shooting styles rather than forcing one setup on every user.

About the EOTech Vudu 8-32x50

The EOTech Vudu 8-32x50 is a high-magnification riflescope built for competitive and recreational long-range shooting, where seeing small target details and making very fine corrections matter more than close-range speed. Its 8-32x magnification range gives the shooter enough flexibility for zeroing, spotting impacts, and refining aim on distant targets, while the 50 mm objective lens helps preserve image usability as magnification increases. At the low end, the wider field of view is helpful when settling behind the rifle; at the top end, the extra image scale supports precise aiming on small scoring zones.

This model uses a second focal plane layout with the HC2 reticle, a MIL-DOT-style pattern intended for versatile medium- to long-range work. In practice, that means the reticle remains easy to see at lower power, while still giving the shooter a familiar reference for holds and corrections when conditions change. The fast-focus eyepiece helps bring the reticle into sharp focus quickly, which is useful when moving between shooters or switching from one stage to another.

The mechanical setup is equally focused on precision. EOTECH specifies 0.125 MOA turret clicks with large, easy-to-read markings, allowing small, deliberate adjustments for exact zeroing and careful elevation changes. The 34 mm tube supports a robust structure, and the scope’s waterproof, fogproof, shockproof, nitrogen-filled construction is suited to rifles that see regular range use in changing weather. With a side-focus parallax adjustment, the Vudu 8-32x50 also lets the shooter fine-tune the image for distance, reducing aiming error when precision is the priority.

About Eotech

EOTECH was created in 1995 as a subsidiary of the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan, with roots tied to ERIM, which was established in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1972. The company is headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan and is best known for its work in aiming systems for professional, tactical, and sporting use. EOTECH introduced its first Holographic Weapon Sight at SHOT Show in 1996, a product category that remains central to its reputation.

Over time, the company expanded beyond holographic sights into magnified optics, launching the Vudu riflescope line in 2016 for shooters who need precision at longer distances. EOTECH later broadened its electro-optics capabilities further by acquiring Intevac’s Photonics division in 2022, adding digital sensor and night-vision expertise. For riflescopes such as the Vudu series, that background matters because it reflects a company focused on rugged sighting systems, practical reticle design, and optics built for serious field and range use.
