Nikko Stirling Ultimax 1-6x24

• 1-6x magnification range: True low power supports fast target acquisition at short distance, while 6x still gives enough precision for more deliberate shots across open ground.
• Wide field of view: With up to 39.20 m/100m, this riflescope helps keep moving game in sight and makes it easier to track targets during driven hunts.
• Illuminated 4A reticle: The red illuminated center draws the eye quickly against dark game or cluttered backgrounds, yet the fine aiming point still allows careful shot placement.
• 30 mm Japanese-made maintube: The robust tube design gives useful adjustment range and dependable mechanical stability in a compact hunting optic.
• Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof build: Nitrogen filling and sealed construction help the scope stay clear and reliable in rain, temperature changes and repeated recoil.

About the Nikko Stirling Ultimax Series

The Nikko Stirling Ultimax series is the brand’s top-end hunting riflescope range, developed for shooters who want a more refined optic without moving into oversized specialist designs. The series is made in Japan and built around 30 mm maintubes, combining a compact hunting format with the adjustment range and mechanical strength expected from a serious field scope.

A defining feature across the range is fiber-optic illumination, used to create a bright red center dot that remains easy to pick up in strong daylight while still offering restrained settings for low-light use. Nikko Stirling positions the Ultimax line for practical hunting applications, from fast shooting on moving game to more deliberate work at dawn and dusk. Multicoated lenses, nitrogen filling, and waterproof and shockproof construction are standard themes throughout the series, reflecting a design approach focused on dependable field use rather than target-style bulk. Within the family, reticle and magnification choices are tailored to different hunting roles, with the 1-6x24 serving as the driven-hunt model.

About the Nikko Stirling Ultimax 1-6x24

The Nikko Stirling Ultimax 1-6x24 is the most speed-oriented model in the series, built for driven hunts, woodland stalking, and other situations where targets appear quickly and shooting distances can change without warning. At 1x, the scope gives a natural, open view that supports rapid target acquisition with both eyes open, while the move to 6x adds enough magnification for more exact shot placement when the opportunity stretches out.

Its 4A illuminated reticle sits in the second focal plane, so the reticle keeps the same apparent size throughout the zoom range. In practice, that makes the aiming picture remain familiar and uncluttered at low power, which is especially useful when speed matters. The red illumination is intended for daylight visibility as well as darker backgrounds, helping the eye settle quickly on the center without covering too much of the target.

The scope’s 39.20 m/100m field of view at low magnification is a major advantage for tracking moving game and maintaining awareness of the surroundings. Capped turrets suit a hunting optic that is expected to hold zero securely rather than invite constant dialing in the field, and the 15mm/100m click value keeps zeroing straightforward. With its 30 mm tube, 88.00 mm eye relief, and a compact 277.00 mm length, the Ultimax 1-6x24 balances fast handling with enough robustness for regular use on hard-working hunting rifles.

About Nikko Stirling

Nikko Stirling traces its beginnings to 1956, when it was established by Malcolm John Fuller. The brand focuses on sport optics for hunters and marksmen, with a catalogue that covers riflescopes, binoculars, reflex sights, and laser rangefinders. Its riflescope families include Diamond Hunting, Diamond FFP, Metor, Panamax, Airking, and Mountmaster, showing a broad spread from general hunting use to more specialized shooting applications.

Beyond riflescopes, Nikko Stirling also offers optics such as Metor HD binoculars, PRO-T5, PRO-T4, and XT4 reflex sights, and the NSLRF laser rangefinder line. That product mix reflects a company identity centered on practical field optics, with particular emphasis on equipment that serves real hunting and shooting needs rather than purely bench or display use.
