Meprolight Tru-Dot for Iwi Jericho Baby Eagle

• Self-Illuminated Tritium: The Meprolight Tru-Dot sight set stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive or duty use at any hour.
• Three-Dot Sight Picture: A clear 3-dot alignment helps the eye center the front sight quickly, which supports faster sight acquisition at close defensive distances and on the range.
• Steel Construction: The steel body gives the sights the strength needed for everyday carry, repeated holstering, and hard use on a service pistol.
• Fixed Sight Design: A fixed setup keeps the system simple and durable, making it well suited to users who want a dependable zero with minimal maintenance.
• Jericho Baby Eagle Fit: Built for the IWI Jericho Baby Eagle platform, this set offers a dedicated replacement for factory sights rather than a generic compromise fit.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

The Meprolight Tru-Dot series is a family of handgun night sights built around a simple idea: keep the sight picture familiar in daylight while adding a constant aiming reference in poor light. Within Meprolight’s handgun lineup, Tru-Dot models cover fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height configurations, giving the series a broad role across carry pistols, duty handguns, and specialized setups. The common thread is the use of tritium illumination, which remains visible in low-light and nighttime conditions without switches or batteries.

For practical shooting, that matters because the shooter does not need to change technique between bright and dark environments. The 3-dot layout is easy to understand, quick to align, and consistent with the sight picture many pistol users already know. The series is also built as a direct replacement for compatible factory front and rear sights, so it suits owners who want a straightforward upgrade rather than a major change in handling. Across the range, Meprolight Tru-Dot sights are intended for dependable day-and-night use on handguns from multiple manufacturers.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Iwi Jericho Baby Eagle

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Iwi Jericho Baby Eagle is a dedicated handgun night sight set for shooters who want a clear, always-available sight picture on this pistol platform. Its defining feature is self-illuminated green tritium, which keeps the front and rear dots visible in dim interiors, on outdoor ranges at dusk, and in true low-light conditions where standard black sights become hard to pick up. Because the illumination is always on, there is nothing to activate under stress.

In daylight, the sight set works as a conventional 3-dot fixed sight system, giving the shooter a familiar reference for fast alignment and controlled follow-up shots. The square rear sight helps frame the front sight cleanly, which is useful for defensive shooting where speed matters but precise front-sight focus still counts. The fixed design also favors durability over adjustment complexity, making it a sensible choice for carry, service, and general-purpose range use.

Mechanically, the use of steel construction supports long-term resistance to wear from holsters, handling, and regular firing. The black finish keeps glare low and preserves a clean sight picture around the illuminated dots. At 100.00 g, the set remains a compact upgrade that changes the pistol’s capability more than its handling, adding low-light usability without adding electronics, switches, or battery management.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets. Its experience spans pistol, rifle, shotgun, and carbine sighting solutions, which is directly relevant to products such as handgun night sights.

Today, Meprolight is a division of SK Group and its catalog extends from conventional sights and tritium night sights to reflex optics, magnified optics, night-vision systems, and thermal devices. That broad specialization helps explain the company’s reputation for practical, duty-oriented designs: products are built around fast target acquisition, dependable illumination, and robust construction rather than unnecessary complexity.
