Vortex Razor RT45 Offset Red Dot Mount

• 45-degree offset layout: Positions a compatible red dot beside the primary optic, allowing a fast transition to close-range aiming by simply rolling the rifle instead of changing magnification or sight picture.
• Ambidextrous mounting: The mount attaches to either side of a Picatinny rail, so left- and right-handed shooters can set up the rifle in a way that matches their shooting style and support-side use.
• Precision-machined aluminum body: The aluminum construction keeps weight down while maintaining the rigidity needed for a secure optic interface on a hard-use rifle setup.
• Hard-coat anodized finish: The black anodized surface adds wear resistance and helps the mount stand up to repeated handling, transport, and field use.
• C-More RTS/STS footprint compatibility: Built around the C-More RTS mounting standard, this mount gives a direct-fit solution for compatible red dot sights without adding unnecessary bulk.

About the Vortex Razor RT45 Offset Mount Series

The Vortex Razor RT45 Offset Mount series is built for shooters who run a magnified primary optic but still want an immediate close-range aiming option on the same rifle. The concept is straightforward: mount a compact red dot at a 45-degree offset so the rifle can be rolled slightly for fast target acquisition at short distance, then returned to the main optic for longer shots. That layout is especially useful on practical rifles, competition carbines, and hunting setups that may need to cover very different engagement distances in the same outing.

Within Vortex’s accessory lineup, the RT45 focuses on a low-profile, lightweight aluminum design rather than unnecessary complexity. The series is intended to keep the secondary sight close to the bore line and easy to access, while still providing the strength needed for repeated use on Picatinny-equipped rifles. Its defining characteristic is practical adaptability: it supports a fast-transition shooting style, accommodates left- or right-side installation, and gives users of compatible micro red dots a cleaner alternative to stacking extra rail sections or improvised adapters.

About the Vortex Razor RT45 Offset Red Dot Mount

The Vortex Razor RT45 Offset Red Dot Mount is designed for rifle setups that need two sighting solutions without becoming bulky or awkward. By placing a compatible red dot at a 45-degree angle from the main optic, it gives the shooter a quick way to move from a magnified sight picture to a non-magnified aiming point for close targets. In practice, that means less time adjusting magnification and less disruption to shooting rhythm when distances change suddenly.

This model uses the C-More RTS/STS mounting standard, making it suitable for red dots built around that footprint, while the Picatinny interface keeps it easy to integrate on a wide range of rifles and chassis systems. The mount can be installed on either side of the rail, which is a real advantage for tailoring the setup to dominant hand, support-side access, or the placement of other accessories. That flexibility matters on rifles already carrying a scope, illumination tool, or other rail-mounted equipment.

The body is made from aluminium and weighs only 50.00 g, so it adds useful capability without noticeably burdening the rifle. Its black finish keeps the appearance discreet and consistent with most tactical optics and hunting optics setups. Overall, this mount is a practical choice for shooters who want a compact, purpose-built offset platform for a compatible micro red dot rather than a generic adapter solution.
