Vortex Crossfire II 1x24 Muzzleloader Product description

The Crossife II 1x24 Muzzleloader is just what the name tells us – a scope intended to be used with muzzle loading rifles and muskets. Due to the nature of black powder shooting, the scope does not feature any magnification, neither does it have a reticle with BDC or other adjustment subtensions, but it offers what black powder shooters really need, a sharp and clear image, a simple but reliable V-Plex reticle, a large adjustment travel to fit the needs of any black powder weapon, and what matters most, it’s lightweight yet rugged and sturdy enough to withstand the abusive recoil of a muzzleloader. If your goal is target shooting or hunting with your new percussive rifle, then this is just the tool you need to give you that extra edge.

Advanced Features

The tube is manufactured out of a single piece of aircraft grade aluminum for both durability and increased accuracy. The hard anodizing protects the material from corrosion and the elements, as well as against scratches. All the joints are sealed with O-rings to prevent moisture, water and debris to enter the scope, while nitrogen gas purging of the inside will prevent any internal fogging.

The construction of the single piece tube is rugged and will withstand both impacts as well as recoil of any caliber. The lenses are multi-coated in all lens-to-air surfaces to ensure a sharp and clear image as well as protect the lens from stains and scratches.

Reticle Illumination

The Vortex Crossfire II 1x24 Muzzleloader does not come with an illuminated reticle, as it is not made for shooting in such conditions and is specifically adapted for use with muzzle loading rifles and muskets.

The lenses are high quality and multi coated for durability and a sharp and crisp image. The lens itself is of a perfect size to let in enough light and has a forgiving eye-box for comfortable shooting in any conditions.

Configuration Options

The turrets on this scope are capped, to offer extra protection, as well as fully resettable to allow re-indexing after zeroing of the scope. The parallax is fixed at 91 meters which offers a precise image at any range while used with the featured fast focus eyepiece.

The scope offers a rather large maximal adjustment travel of 100 MOA for both elevation and windage. The adjustment graduation is ½ MOA per click with a 28 MOA travel per rotation. It comes with the rather simple V-Plex reticle that serves the scopes purpose perfectly.
