About the Product (1x20x28)

Most Vector Optics reflex red dot sights have a battery compartment at the bottom, and Vector Optics Frenzy is no different. The battery lasts 20.000 hours at the weakest visible intensity setting (setting 3). The device powers off after 4 hours of inactivity to preserve battery life.

The product comes with a fixed mount for the Picatinny platform, and there is the Docter/Noblex footprint underneath. It is made of 6061 T-6 aluminium alloy, which provides the user with a secure grip. The open compact reflex red dot sight is also waterproof, fog-proof, as well as shock-proof.

Optical Properties

Frenzy 1x20x28 comes with a 1x magnification, which is great for observing with both eyes open. The glass is fully multicoated to provide a clear, bright image. There is some blue tint at the upper part of the field of view however, the user will not be bothered by that while using the product.

Illumination

This Vector Optics Frenzy model altogether has 10 levels of illumination and provides excellent observation even at the maximum setting without any reflections in the corners of the field of view. This red dot comes with a 3 MOA dot.

It can, as the Frenzy shares the mounting surface of Docter/Noblex red dot sights, however, we would like to share some information with you.

These red dot sights (Vector Optics Frenzy) indeed have a Docter/Noblex footprint, but the adapter supplied with them has wider threaded sockets than adapters suited for a Docter/Noblex footprint. Consequently, thicker screws are enclosed. You can mount these red dots on an adapter designed specifically for the Docter/Noblex footprint, but you will need not be able to use the screws supplied with them – thinner screws are needed.

What’s the battery life

Battery life depends on the illumination level which is predominantly used and the quality of the battery itself. Unfortunately, Vector Optics doesn't specifically state the battery life for this model, however, we speculate that the battery life could be quite substantial since this is normally the case with such red dot sights.

good quality, fit for my glock

This sight is amazing! I have been extremely pleased with it mounted on my T9SFX (fits perfectly on the Venom plate). For the price, it performs amazing. The glass is really clear, only a tiny hint of a brown hue. The dot is super clear and super bright. The glass is fully sealed with "epoxy" all the way around. The viewport is huge, and my favorite part is how thin the emitter is. It also has a light sensor for automatically adjusting brightness. I will buy more soon!
