Shilba I6x 3-18x50

• 6x zoom range: The 3-18x magnification span covers everything from closer woodland shots to deliberate long-range work, so the scope stays useful across changing terrain and target distances.
• 50 mm objective lens: A larger front lens helps maintain a brighter, easier sight picture at higher magnifications, which is especially helpful when detail matters in poor light.
• Side parallax adjustment: Adjustment from 15 meters to infinity lets the image and reticle stay in the same focal plane, reducing aiming error and making precise shot placement easier at varying ranges.
• 30 mm nitrogen-filled tube: The larger tube format supports a robust hunting riflescope layout, while nitrogen filling and sealed construction help the optic stay clear in cold, damp, and fast-changing weather.
• Fully multicoated optics: Coated lenses improve light transmission and contrast, giving a cleaner image with better target definition instead of a flat or washed-out view.

About the Shilba I6X Series

The Shilba I6X series sits in the brand’s hunting riflescope range as a family built around a 6x zoom system and a versatile, field-oriented design. Shilba currently offers the line in 1-6x24, 2.5-15x50, 3-18x50, and 5-30x56 formats, giving the series a broad spread from fast, close work to deliberate long-range shooting. Across the range, the concept stays consistent: adaptable magnification, practical handling, and enough optical reach for recreational, sporting, professional, and scientific use.

Within the series, reticle choice varies by model, with listed options including IR4, illuminated B4A, and Mildot. The family is also associated with 30 mm tubes and second-focal-plane layouts, which keep the reticle appearance fine and easy to read as magnification changes. In practical terms, that makes the I6X line appealing to shooters who want one riflescope series that can cover driven-style setups, general hunting optics, and more distance-focused applications without changing to a completely different platform.

About the Shilba I6x 3-18x50

The Shilba I6x 3-18x50 is the long-range oriented member of the series for shooters who need more reach than a general-purpose hunting riflescope, but still want a scope that remains manageable in the field. Its 3-18x magnification range gives enough flexibility for scanning and target acquisition at the low end, while the upper end provides the image scale needed for careful shot placement at extended distances. Paired with a 50.00 mm objective lens, the scope is configured to preserve image brightness and detail as magnification rises.

This model uses a second focal plane reticle, which keeps the reticle visually consistent through the zoom range. That is often preferred by hunters and recreational shooters who want an uncluttered aiming picture at both low and high magnification. The scope also includes side focus parallax adjustment from 15 meters to infinity, a practical feature for reducing apparent reticle shift and sharpening the image when shooting across very different distances.

Mechanically, the scope combines a 30 mm tube with capped turrets, a layout that suits field use where protection against accidental adjustment matters more than constant dialing. The fully multicoated optical system supports contrast and clarity, while the nitrogen-filled, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction is intended for regular outdoor use in changing weather. At 370.00 mm and 720.00 g, it has the proportions of a serious all-round to long-range hunting optic with enough stability for rifles that see varied use.

About Shilba

Shilba traces its origins to an optical workshop near Osaka, Japan, in 1960, giving the brand a long connection to sporting optics. In 1981, the owner of the Japanese factory sold the Shilba brand, its expertise, and its contacts to the current owners, establishing the basis for the company as it is known today. The brand’s range includes riflescopes, binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, and scope mounts and rings, showing a clear focus on practical field and shooting optics rather than a single narrow category.

Shilba’s history in riflescopes is especially relevant here. In 1975, technicians from Argentina traveled to Japan to develop a riflescope for hare hunting, and the first two riflescope models were 4×32 and 4×40. That background helps explain why the company remains closely associated with hunting optics and straightforward, purpose-built designs for real field use.
