Celestron Advanced VX 9.25'' SCT

1. Compact Schmidt-Cassegrain Design: The 9.25-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain features a multi-coated optical system that delivers crisp, high-contrast images free from chromatic aberration. This catadioptric design masterfully folds a long focal length into a compact tube, making it highly portable while maintaining exceptional optical performance. It is an all-around performer for both planetary detail and deep-sky observation.

2. Advanced VX Equatorial Mount: Engineered for both visual observers and aspiring astrophotographers, the Advanced VX mount offers precise tracking and GoTo capabilities. Its robust construction minimizes vibration, ensuring stable viewing and imaging, even with heavier loads. The mount's permanent periodic error correction (PPEC) is ideal for long-exposure astrophotography.

3. Unmatched Observing Versatility: With its generous 9.25-inch aperture and f/10 focal ratio, this telescope excels across a broad range of celestial targets. From the intricate details of lunar craters and planetary surfaces to the faint glow of distant galaxies and nebulae, the Advanced VX 9.25'' SCT provides stunning clarity and brightness, making every observing session a truly immersive experience.

4. User-Friendly Technology: The included NexStar+ hand control provides intuitive access to a vast database of over 40,000 celestial objects, making target acquisition effortless. Its computerized GoTo system accurately slews the telescope to your desired object, allowing you to spend more time observing and less time searching. The mount's alignment procedures are straightforward, getting you under the stars quickly.

ABOUT THE CELESTRON ADVANCED VX 9.25'' SCT

The Celestron Advanced VX 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) telescope stands out in its series by offering a unique balance of powerful aperture and exceptional portability, making it a highly versatile instrument for serious amateur astronomers. This catadioptric telescope combines mirrors and lenses to produce a long focal length in a remarkably compact optical tube, minimizing its footprint while maximizing light-gathering capabilities. Its 9.25-inch aperture gathers significantly more light than smaller models, revealing fainter deep-sky objects and finer details on planets, while its f/10 focal ratio delivers sharp, high-contrast views. Constructed from a durable aluminum optical tube and supported by a robust steel tripod, the system ensures mechanical stability. Paired with the Advanced VX (AVX) GoTo Equatorial Mount, this telescope is purpose-built for both precise visual observation and demanding long-exposure astrophotography. The AVX mount provides superior tracking accuracy, making it an excellent choice for capturing stunning celestial images, setting it apart from simpler alt-azimuth systems.
