Celestron CPC 925 GPS Computerized telescope

1. Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Design: The CPC 925 GPS features a Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) optical system, a catadioptric design that combines mirrors and a corrective plate to deliver a long focal length in a very compact tube. This unique construction provides a wide field of view for deep-sky objects while excelling in high-power planetary and lunar observations, making it ideal for both visual astronomy and prime-focus astrophotography.

2. Integrated GPS and SkyAlign: With its built-in 16-channel GPS module, the telescope automatically downloads the exact time and location, enabling the revolutionary SkyAlign alignment procedure. This industry-leading feature allows users to simply center any three bright celestial objects in the eyepiece, and the telescope automatically aligns itself, ready for precise GoTo tracking and object identification.

3. StarBright XLT Optical Coatings: All optical surfaces are treated with Celestron's proprietary StarBright XLT coatings. This advanced multi-layer coating system dramatically increases light transmission across the entire visual spectrum, resulting in brighter images with enhanced contrast and resolution, crucial for discerning faint deep-sky objects and subtle planetary details.

4. Ergonomic Design and Portability: Despite its powerful optics, the CPC 925 is designed for ease of use and transport. Its compact dual-fork arm mount provides superior stability, while conveniently placed carrying handles make setup and breakdown straightforward. The sturdy heavy-duty tripod ensures minimal vibrations, delivering sharp views even at high magnifications.
