Celestron Advanced VX 7"

1. Versatile Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Tube: The 7-inch (178mm) Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube offers a compact footprint with a long focal length of 1780mm (f/10). This design makes it an excellent all-rounder, performing exceptionally well for both detailed planetary observations and capturing stunning deep-sky objects like galaxies and nebulae. Its sealed tube design minimizes dust intrusion, reducing maintenance needs.

2. Advanced VX German Equatorial Mount: This telescope is paired with Celestron's Advanced VX (AVX) GoTo equatorial mount, specifically engineered to provide superior performance for imaging, with features like permanently programmable Periodic Error Correction (PEC). It's designed to carry medium-sized telescopes, making it perfect for both visual observation and serious astrophotography.

3. Robust and Stable Platform: The AVX mount and its heavy-duty stainless steel tripod provide a stable and steady platform for the optical tube, essential for high-magnification viewing and long-exposure astrophotography. The enhanced motors and gearing ensure accurate tracking and precise GoTo slewing to celestial objects, minimizing vibrations and maximizing optical clarity.

4. Intuitive NexStar+ Hand Control: The included NexStar+ hand control unit provides access to a vast database of over 40,000 celestial objects. Its user-friendly interface allows for easy setup, alignment, and navigation, enabling observers of all experience levels to quickly locate and track their desired targets for an immersive stargazing experience.

ABOUT THE CELESTRON ADVANCED VX 7"

The Celestron Advanced VX 7" telescope represents a fantastic blend of optical power and advanced German Equatorial mount technology, setting it apart in its class.
