Braun Premium 10x50 WP

• 10x50 configuration: The 10x magnification brings distant detail closer for wildlife observation, open-country hunting and general outdoor use, while the 50 mm objectives help maintain a bright, easy view in fading light.
• Porro prism design: The Porro layout gives the binocular a naturally spacious image and strong depth perception, which helps when scanning terrain, tracking birds or judging distance in the field.
• Fully multicoated ULTRALIT optics: Complete multilayer coatings and ULTRALIT glass support better contrast and more natural colour reproduction, so fine details remain easier to pick out against dark backgrounds.
• Nitrogen-filled waterproof housing: The sealed, nitrogen-filled construction resists internal fogging and handles wet weather, making the binocular more dependable for hunting trips, shoreline use and cold-to-warm temperature changes.
• 18.00 mm eye relief: The long eye relief gives a more comfortable viewing position and makes the Braun Premium 10x50 WP easier to use for eyeglass wearers during longer observation sessions.

About the Braun Premium Series

The Braun Premium series sits as BRAUN’s high-grade full-sized binocular range, built for users who want a more capable field optic for outdoor observation rather than a compact travel-only model. Across the series, BRAUN presents Premium binoculars for leisure and travel, events, outdoor use, bird and wildlife observation, hunting and astronomy, which gives the range a broad role within the brand’s binocular lineup.

A defining characteristic of the series is its use of ULTRALIT glass lenses together with multilayer lens coatings, rubber-armoured construction and waterproof, nitrogen-filled bodies. In practice, that combination is aimed at dependable outdoor use: clearer contrast, reduced internal fogging and a housing that is better suited to damp weather and regular transport. The series also spans different optical formats, including Porro-prism 7x50 and 10x50 models, roof-prism 8x42 and 10x42 versions, and larger 8x56 and 10x56 WP-ED models. That mix gives the Premium family a clear identity: full-sized binoculars with practical weather resistance and configurations tailored to everything from general nature viewing to low-light observation.

About the Braun Premium 10x50 WP

The Braun Premium 10x50 WP is a full-sized binocular built around a 10x50 format that balances reach, brightness and steadiness well for general outdoor observation. The 10x magnification is useful when glassing across fields, shorelines or woodland edges, giving enough image scale for wildlife and bird observation without moving into the narrower, less forgiving handling of higher magnifications. Its 5.00 mm exit pupil also helps keep the image comfortable and bright in overcast conditions and around dusk, where a 50 mm objective still offers a clear practical advantage over smaller binoculars.

This model uses a Porro prism system with fully multicoated lenses, a combination that supports a broad, natural-looking image with good perceived depth. That makes it easier to separate subjects from background cover and to scan landscapes for movement. The 114.00 m/1000m field of view is wide enough for tracking birds and following moving game, while the central focusing system keeps operation simple and quick in changing viewing distances.

For comfort, the binocular offers 18.00 mm eye relief and a right-eyepiece diopter adjustment, allowing the view to be tuned to the user’s eyesight. The nitrogen-filled, waterproof and fogproof body is better suited to wet mornings, cold hides and boat use than an unsealed binocular. At 940.00 g, it is a substantial optic, but that weight also helps the image settle in the hands during longer observation sessions.

About Braun

Braun traces its origins to 1915, when Karl Braun founded Karl Braun KG in Germany. The company initially produced optical instruments, metal goods and binoculars, showing that optics have been part of its history from the beginning. In 1948, the business became Carl Braun Camera-Werk Nürnberg, and in 2004 it adopted the name BRAUN Photo Technik GmbH.

Today, BRAUN Photo Technik is headquartered in Eutingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its range includes binoculars as well as Ultralit spotting scopes, reflecting a continued focus on practical observation optics alongside the brand’s broader imaging products. BRAUN returned binoculars to its product range in 2007, and the current lineup shows a clear emphasis on accessible field optics for travel, wildlife observation and general outdoor use. Within this category, the brand is known for combining straightforward mechanical designs with weather-resistant construction and ULTRALIT optical elements in selected models.
