Vomz Pilad P 4X32 LGG

• Fixed 4x magnification: A simple fixed-power layout keeps the sight picture consistent and avoids the extra moving parts of a variable scope, which suits fast target acquisition at short to medium distances.
• Illuminated SFP reticle: The red illuminated reticle remains the same apparent size through use, giving a familiar aiming reference that is easy to pick up in dim woodland or against dark targets.
• Fully multicoated optics: Lens coatings help maintain contrast and usable brightness, making it easier to separate game from background detail in mixed light.
• 30 mm tube with capped turrets: The larger tube format and protected adjustment caps support a practical hunting setup, reducing the chance of accidental turret movement during transport or field carry.
• Argon-filled weather-resistant construction: Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction helps the scope stay clear and reliable in changing temperatures, wet weather and repeated recoil.

About the Vomz Pilad P Series

The Vomz Pilad P series is a family of fixed-magnification riflescopes built around a straightforward mechanical concept. VOMZ positions these models as practical optical sights for hunters and sport shooters who prefer a constant magnification and a familiar sight picture over the added complexity of a zoom system. Because fixed-power scopes have fewer moving parts than variable designs, the series emphasizes mechanical simplicity and predictable handling in the field.

Within the range, VOMZ has offered Pilad P models in magnifications such as 3.5x, 4x, 8x, 10x and 12x, covering everything from short-range driven hunting to more deliberate shooting disciplines. The series includes both illuminated and non-illuminated versions, and different reticle layouts have been offered, including T-post, Cross, MilDot and Parabola patterns. In practical terms, that gives the Pilad P family a broad role: some models favor quick shooting on moving targets, while others suit more measured aiming. The series is also offered in versions for 26 mm or 30 mm rings, allowing the scope format to match different rifles and mounting preferences.

About the Vomz Pilad P 4X32 LGG

The Vomz Pilad P 4X32 LGG is a fixed-power hunting riflescope intended for short and medium distances, where a clear, stable image and uncomplicated handling matter more than frequent magnification changes. Its 4x magnification gives enough image scale for precise shot placement while still remaining manageable for moving targets in walk-up or driven hunting situations. Combined with a 32 mm objective lens, it balances compact proportions with enough light-gathering ability for general daytime and twilight field use.

This model uses an SFP illuminated reticle with red illumination. In practice, the second focal plane layout keeps the reticle visually consistent, which many shooters prefer because the aiming pattern always looks the same. The illumination is not intended for bright daylight, but it can help the reticle stand out better in darker backgrounds or subdued light. A fixed 100 m parallax setting suits the scope’s intended role and keeps operation simple, while the fast-focus eyepiece helps the shooter quickly sharpen the reticle to their eyesight.

Mechanically, the scope is configured for practical field use. Capped turrets protect the adjustments from accidental movement, and the 10mm/100m - 0.10MIL click value provides clear, repeatable correction. The 30 mm tube, argon filling, and waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction support reliable use in changing weather and on rifles that see regular outdoor use. At 550.00 g and 274.00 mm long, it remains a substantial but manageable optic for traditional hunting rifle setups.

About Vomz

VOMZ began operations in Vologda, Russia, on October 16, 1971 and remains headquartered there. The company manufactures optoelectronic products for both special-purpose and civilian applications, with a product range that includes optical sights, prism sights and collimator sights. For the sporting market, VOMZ is known for producing Pilad-branded rifle scopes, developed for uses such as hunting and sport shooting.

The company’s background in optical and sighting equipment is reflected in a practical design approach focused on durability and field use. VOMZ states that its scopes are tested against recoil loads of 800 g, underscoring their intended use on working firearms rather than as purely recreational optics. VOMZ is also part of the Shvabe holding within the Rostec State Corporation, placing it within a larger industrial group with established experience in optical and electro-optical manufacturing.
