UTG Heavy Duty Push Button QD Sling Swivel, 35 mm Loop

• Push-button QD attachment: The quick-detach mechanism lets the sling swivel lock into a compatible socket or come off again in seconds, which is useful when changing carry setup, transport configuration, or rifle accessories.
• 35 mm loop: The wide loop fits broader slings than a standard 1-inch swivel, giving more flexibility when pairing the mount with modern rifle slings and reducing the need for adapters.
• Steel construction: A steel body gives the swivel the strength needed for repeated carry, movement, and field handling, helping it stay dependable on working rifles and hard-use setups.
• Precision-fit design: UTG builds this swivel for universal QD housings on stocks and rails, which helps provide secure engagement and smooth insertion without excessive play.
• Compact, low-weight build: At 25.50 g, it adds very little bulk to the rifle while still providing a robust sling attachment point for everyday use.

About the UTG Accessories Series

UTG Accessories covers a broad part of the Leapers catalog, bringing together practical components for both firearms and optics rather than focusing on a single product type. The series sits as a utility-driven part of the wider UTG range, with products intended for shooters who want straightforward mounting, support, and handling solutions for range use, hunting setups, and general rifle configuration. Within the catalog, the line spans small optic-related parts such as scope accessories as well as firearm components including handguard-related items and sling hardware.

A defining trait of the series is its emphasis on functional compatibility and simple integration with common platforms. Instead of chasing unnecessary complexity, these accessories are built to solve specific setup problems: improving carry options, refining optic fit, or adding mounting flexibility. That makes the series especially relevant for shooters assembling a rifle from individual parts or refining an existing setup for more efficient field handling. Across the range, the design approach stays consistent: durable materials, practical dimensions, and hardware meant to work cleanly with established shooting-sport equipment.

About the UTG Heavy Duty Push Button QD Sling Swivel, 35 mm Loop

The UTG Heavy Duty Push Button QD Sling Swivel, 35 mm Loop is a simple but important rifle accessory for shooters who want a secure sling attachment that can be removed quickly without tools. Its main advantage is the combination of a push-button quick-detach stud and a 35.1 mm loop width, which makes it suitable for wider slings than a standard 1-inch swivel. In practice, that gives more freedom when setting up a rifle for carry, support, or transitions between shooting positions.

The swivel is made from steel with a black finish, a sensible choice for a part that sees constant movement and load whenever the rifle is carried on a sling. UTG describes it as a precision-produced design for universal housings on stocks and rails, which matters because a QD swivel has to insert cleanly, lock positively, and resist unwanted movement during normal handling. The heavy-duty construction is therefore not just about strength on paper; it supports consistent retention when the rifle is slung, lifted, or repositioned.

Its compact format also helps keep the setup tidy. With a weight of only 25.50 g, it adds minimal mass while still providing a robust connection point. For practical rifle use, that makes this UTG sling swivel a good fit for shooters who want fast sling removal for storage or transport, but do not want to give up the solid feel of an all-steel attachment point.

About UTG

UTG is a brand of Leapers, Inc., a company founded in Michigan in 1992. Leapers began with a compact 4×28 scope and went on to develop a broad catalog of optics and shooting accessories for hunting and shooting sports. The company is headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, and its product range includes riflescopes, mounts, scope rings, bipods, and other support equipment used to configure and carry firearms.

Over time, Leapers expanded both its manufacturing and product development capabilities. It introduced the UTG PRO line of U.S.-made products in 2009, established a dedicated optics research and manufacturing center in Taiwan in 2018, and later added the INTEGRIX premium optics brand in 2022. That background is relevant here because UTG accessories are built within a company that works across both optics and firearm support hardware, with a long-standing focus on practical shooting equipment.
