UTG Accu-Sync 45 Degree Offset Flip Up Rear Sight

• 45° offset layout: The angled design lets the rear sight sit alongside a magnified optic, so a quick rifle roll brings a backup aiming system into view without removing the primary sight.
• Flip-up backup sight: The folding construction keeps the profile low when not in use, helping preserve rail space and reducing snag risk on rifles set up for hunting optics or tactical optics.
• Aluminium construction: A lightweight metal body adds durability without unnecessary bulk, making it a practical choice for carbines that need dependable backup sights without upsetting balance.
• Picatinny rail fit: Built for Picatinny mounting, the sight integrates easily into common AR-style and modern rifle setups, simplifying installation on rifles already configured with rails.
• 10-year warranty: The stated 10 years of coverage adds reassurance for a part that is expected to stay zeroed and ready as a long-term backup aiming solution.

About the UTG Accu-Sync Series

UTG Accu-Sync is a family of mounts, rings and sighting components built around a practical goal: keeping modern rifle accessories compact, secure and easy to integrate on Picatinny-based platforms. Within the UTG lineup, the series sits as a streamlined option for shooters who want clean mechanical design and a close fit with contemporary sporting and defensive rifle setups. Rather than focusing on bulk, Accu-Sync products are generally shaped to save space, maintain alignment and work neatly alongside optics, backup sights and other rail-mounted equipment.

In use, the series is aimed at shooters who need dependable support hardware for hunting rifles, AR-pattern carbines and general-purpose range builds. The design philosophy centers on low-profile construction, straightforward operation and durable metal housings that stand up to repeated handling. In categories such as offset sights and optic mounts, that translates into components that help the shooter transition quickly between sighting systems while keeping the rifle uncluttered. The result is a series known for practical fit, compact dimensions and compatibility with the modular layout expected from modern shooting equipment.

About the UTG Accu-Sync 45 Degree Offset Flip Up Rear Sight

The UTG Accu-Sync 45 Degree Offset Flip Up Rear Sight is built as a backup iron sight for rifles that already carry a primary optic. Its main advantage is the 45-degree offset configuration, which allows the shooter to keep a magnified scope or similar sight in place while retaining immediate access to a secondary aiming system. Instead of removing equipment or changing the rifle setup, a simple cant of the rifle brings the rear sight into alignment with a matching offset front sight. That makes this style especially useful on AR-platform rifles used for mixed-distance shooting, where the primary optic handles longer shots and the offset irons remain available for closer work or as a fail-safe.

The flip-up format also improves day-to-day handling. When folded, the sight stays out of the way and helps preserve a cleaner rail layout; when deployed, it provides the fixed reference expected from a rear iron sight. The aluminium body keeps weight down while still offering the rigidity needed for a rail-mounted aiming component. Its Picatinny rail compatibility makes it easy to pair with common modern rifles and accessory handguards, and the black finish suits both sporting and duty-style builds. Overall, this rear sight is best understood as a compact, durable support sight for shooters who want a dedicated backup system without giving up the speed and flexibility of an optic-equipped rifle.

About UTG

UTG is a brand of Leapers, Inc., a company founded in Michigan in 1992. Leapers began with a compact 4×28 scope and grew into a broad shooting-sports manufacturer focused on optics and accessories for hunting and firearm use. The company is headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, and its catalog includes riflescopes, scope rings, mounts and bipods alongside iron sights and related hardware.

A notable step in the company’s development came in 2009 with the introduction of the UTG PRO line of U.S.-made products. Leapers later expanded its technical capability further by establishing a UTG optics research and manufacturing center in Taiwan in 2018. This background is relevant to products such as the Accu-Sync sight series, where mechanical fit, repeatable mounting and practical field durability matter as much as the basic function of the part itself.
