US Optics TS 5-25x50 FFP-Yes-JVCR

• 5-25x magnification range: Covers the span from medium-distance target work to precise long-range shooting, so one riflescope can handle load development, range use, and field positions without feeling over-specialized.
• First focal plane JVCR reticle: The reticle scales with magnification, keeping holdovers and milling references consistent at every power setting for faster corrections when distance or wind changes.
• Lockable tactical turrets: Positive 0.10 mrad clicks and a locking design help prevent accidental movement during transport or positional shooting, while still allowing quick dialing when a stage or shot calls for it.
• Adjustable parallax from 10y to infinity: Close-range parallax correction makes the scope more flexible on rimfire trainers and short-range precision setups, while infinity adjustment supports centerfire work at extended distance.
• Fully multicoated optics in a nitrogen-filled body: The coating package supports contrast and light transmission, while the fogproof, waterproof, and shockproof construction helps the scope stay usable in changing weather and hard field use.

About the US Optics TS Series

The US Optics TS series was introduced under the USO label as a more accessible alternative to the company’s boutique, high-end optics. It sits below the premium lines in price, but it keeps the practical layout that many shooters want in a working riflescope: useful magnification ranges, illuminated reticle options, and controls designed around real range and field use rather than display-piece styling. US Optics states that TS-series scopes are manufactured overseas and then brought into its facility for quality assurance, reflecting the line’s role as a value-focused entry into the brand.

Within the broader lineup, the TS family spans both traditional variable-power riflescopes and low-power variable optics. That gives the series a wide reach, from close-range carbines to precision-oriented rifles. Across the range, the emphasis is on familiar tactical operation, practical reticle choices, and straightforward mechanical design. The TS concept is not about heavy customization; it is about delivering the core US Optics shooting experience in a more standardized format. For shooters who want a US Optics scope for hunting optics, target shooting, or tactical-style use without moving into the brand’s more specialized premium tiers, the TS series fills that role clearly.

About the US Optics TS 5-25x50 FFP-Yes-JVCR

The US Optics TS 5-25x50 is built for shooters who need one riflescope to cover a broad spread of distances. Its 5-25x magnification range gives enough low-end power for finding targets and managing recoil in practical positions, while the upper end supports precise aiming on small targets and more confident shot placement at long range. Paired with a 50 mm objective lens, the scope balances useful light intake with a size that still fits well on precision and tactical-style rifle setups.

The JVCR reticle in the first focal plane is one of the model’s defining features. Because the reticle remains proportional through the zoom range, holdovers and ranging references stay true at any magnification. That matters for shooters who do not always have time to return to one preferred power before taking a shot. Red illumination helps the reticle stand out against dark targets or shaded backgrounds without changing the basic precision-oriented character of the sight picture.

Mechanically, this model is arranged for dialing and repeatable correction. The lockable tactical turrets use 0.10 mrad clicks, a familiar format for precision shooting and spotter communication. Multi-turn elevation gives room for substantial adjustment, while the 24.00 mrad windage range supports zeroing and wind correction across a wide range of cartridges. The scope does not use a zero stop, so it suits shooters who prefer a simpler turret system and keep close track of turret position. An adjustable parallax system from 10y to infinity adds flexibility for both centerfire rifles and training rifles used at shorter distances.

At the same time, the TS 5-25x50 remains practical in the field. Its 30 mm tube, 774.00 g weight, and 360.00 mm length keep it substantial without becoming excessively bulky, and the waterproof, fogproof, shockproof, nitrogen-filled construction is suited to regular outdoor use.

About US Optics

U.S. Optics was founded in 1991 in Buena Park, California, and built its name around riflescopes and related shooting optics for demanding use. The company serves competitive, hunting, and defense-shooting communities, with a product range that spans traditional precision scopes, LPVOs, and other sighting systems. One of its notable lines is the SN-3, and the company also helped pioneer low-power variable optics in the U.S. market.

Over time, U.S. Optics expanded from specialized custom-style products into broader commercial offerings, including the SR, ST, MR, LR, and ER lines. After acquisition by DRSG, the company moved to Kalispell, Montana, in 2017, and in 2019 it joined ZRO Delta and moved to North Carolina. Today, its engineering team is based in Connelly Springs, North Carolina. That background is relevant here because the brand remains closely associated with tactical and precision shooting optics, even in more accessible lines such as the TS series.
