Thompson Center U-View 209 Primer Capper For In-Line Muzzleloaders

• Primer Capacity: The U-View 209 Primer Capper carries 8x 209 shotshell primers, keeping multiple reloads together in one compact tool so primers are easier to manage in the field.
• Transparent Body: The transparent plastic construction lets the remaining primer count stay visible at a glance, which helps avoid fumbling through pockets or pouches during a reload.
• Built for In-Line Muzzleloaders: Designed for in-line muzzleloader use, it gives a simple way to handle 209 primers cleanly and consistently around the breech area.
• Field-Friendly Size: As a small primer accessory, it adds very little bulk to a hunting or range kit while keeping ignition components organized and protected from loose carry.
• Simple Reload Management: By grouping primers in one dedicated holder, the capper helps speed up loading routines and reduces the chance of dropping or misplacing individual primers.

About the Thompson Center Accessories Series

Thompson Center Accessories is a practical equipment line built around the needs of hunters and outdoor users. The series covers everyday support gear for firearms and binoculars, along with products intended to carry or organize muzzleloader reload supplies in the field. Rather than focusing on one narrow use, the range is structured to support the way black-powder and hunting equipment is actually carried, handled, and kept ready between shots.

Within the broader Thompson/Center lineup, this series sits as a utility-focused companion to the brand’s firearms and muzzleloading products. It includes accessories organized into categories such as slings and ammunition carriers, reflecting a design approach centered on portability, quick access, and straightforward handling. That makes the series especially relevant for hunters who want their essential gear arranged in a way that is easy to manage under field conditions, whether they are moving between stands, carrying optics, or keeping reload components close at hand.

About the Thompson Center U-View 209 Primer Capper For In-Line Muzzleloaders

The Thompson Center U-View 209 Primer Capper For In-Line Muzzleloaders is a compact loading accessory made to simplify primer handling for in-line muzzleloader shooters. Its main job is straightforward: keep 209 shotshell primers together, visible, and easier to access when it is time to prime the rifle. For hunters and range users, that matters because loose primers are small, easy to drop, and awkward to sort through when carried in a pocket or pouch.

The defining feature of this model is its transparent plastic body. Because the primers remain visible, the user can quickly check how many are left without opening containers or counting by feel. That saves time during a reload and helps with better preparation before heading into the field. The body is also light in weight and simple in form, so it fits naturally into a muzzleloader kit without adding unnecessary bulk.

With a capacity of 8x 209 primers, the U-View capper gives enough reserve for a typical outing while keeping ignition components grouped in one dedicated tool. It is described for use with Strike-Fire or Scoped Rifles, making it particularly suitable for Thompson/Center in-line platforms that use 209 primer ignition. In practice, this accessory is less about adding complexity and more about making the loading process cleaner, faster, and easier to manage when conditions are cold, wet, or hurried.
