Sightron 40 MOA Tactical Elevation Turret

• 40 MOA elevation travel: Adds a dedicated tactical elevation range that helps shooters dial farther without changing holdover methods, making it useful for rifles set up for distance work.
• Tactical turret format: The larger, purpose-built turret is easier to grasp and adjust under field or range conditions, so elevation changes can be made more quickly and with better confidence.
• Accessory made for Sightron optics: As an original Sightron part, it is intended to match the fit and handling of compatible riflescope systems rather than relying on a generic aftermarket solution.
• Light 50.00 g construction: The turret adds dialing capability without meaningfully increasing overall rifle weight, helping preserve balance on hunting or precision setups.
• Made in Japan: Japanese manufacture is closely associated with the consistent machining and finish expected on premium riflescope components, especially on parts that are handled frequently.

About the Sightron Accessories Series

Sightron Accessories is the brand’s factory collection of support components for riflescopes and field optics, bringing together practical add-ons that extend how Sightron products are used in the field. The series covers items such as sunshades for different riflescope lines and objective sizes, Switchview levers in several variants, side-focus wheels, scope covers, cleaning items, and mounting-related parts. That broad mix places the series in a supporting role within the Sightron lineup: not as a separate optical family, but as the hardware that helps tailor an optic to a specific rifle, discipline, or shooting style.

Within that range, the design philosophy is straightforward and functional. Accessories are built to solve real setup needs, whether that means faster magnification changes, better lens protection, easier focus control, or more specialized turret handling. For shooters using hunting optics or tactical optics, the value of the series lies in keeping the rifle scope closer to the task at hand. Sightron Accessories therefore suits users who want factory-matched parts that integrate cleanly with the brand’s optics rather than adapting universal components with less predictable fit or handling.

About the Sightron 40 MOA Tactical Elevation Turret

The Sightron 40 MOA Tactical Elevation Turret is a riflescope accessory intended for shooters who prefer to dial elevation corrections directly rather than rely only on reticle holdover. Its defining feature is the 40 MOA elevation format, which gives the optic a clear, purpose-specific dialing interface for longer shots and changing distances. In practical use, that makes the turret especially relevant on rifles set up for target shooting, varmint work, or other applications where repeatable elevation changes matter more than a low-profile hunting configuration.

The tactical style is important because it changes how the scope is handled. A larger external elevation turret is easier to read, grip, and turn than a compact cap-based arrangement, particularly when making frequent corrections on the firing line. That improves speed when moving between distances and helps the shooter return to a known setting with less hesitation. At just 50.00 g, the accessory adds this functionality without noticeably burdening the rifle, which is useful for maintaining balance on a practical field setup.

Because it is a Sightron factory accessory and is made in Japan, the turret is positioned as a component for users who want the feel and finish of an original part. For Sightron owners building a more dial-focused precision setup, it offers a simple way to shift the scope toward a more tactical elevation workflow.

About Sightron

Sightron was founded in late 1993 and developed its business around premium optical products for outdoor sportsmen. The company was originally based in Miami, Florida and later moved its headquarters to North Carolina. Over time, Sightron expanded from early red-dot sights into a broader optics catalog that includes riflescopes for hunting and target shooting, along with binoculars and spotting scopes.

In the riflescope category, Sightron is particularly known for mechanical consistency and practical optical design. Its lineup includes established series such as SII, SIII, S-TAC, and SV, covering everything from general hunting use to long-range and competition shooting. The brand also uses proprietary technologies such as ExacTrack for windage and elevation adjustment control and Zact-7 Revcoat lens coatings on selected optics. Sightron riflescopes are manufactured in Japan, a detail that remains important to many shooters looking for dependable fit, finish, and repeatable adjustment performance.
