Sightmark Citadel 3-18x50 FFP

• 3-18x magnification range: Covers the gap between medium-range target work and longer shots, giving the scope enough low-end field of view for target acquisition and enough top-end magnification for precise hold placement.
• 50 mm objective with fully multi-coated glass: Helps deliver a brighter, clearer image in difficult light, which is useful when aiming at dark targets, shaded backgrounds, or during the first and last part of legal shooting hours.
• Illuminated reticle with side-focus parallax adjustment: The red illumination helps the aiming point stand out against dark backgrounds, while parallax correction from 15 m to infinity keeps the image and reticle aligned across a wide range of distances.
• Lockable tactical turrets in 0.10 MIL clicks: Provide repeatable corrections for elevation and windage, then lock down to reduce the chance of accidental movement when the rifle is carried or moved between positions.
• 30 mm nitrogen-filled tube: Supports a durable scope body with useful adjustment travel, while the fogproof, shockproof and IPX-6 waterproof construction is suited to field use in changing weather.

About the Sightmark Citadel Series

The Sightmark Citadel series was introduced in 2018 as a line of riflescopes built for shooters who need practical magnification ranges, tactical-style controls and durable construction without moving into oversized specialist optics. Across the original series, Sightmark combined fully multi-coated glass, red-illuminated reticles with 11 brightness settings and a single-piece 30 mm tube made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. That formula gave the Citadel family a clear role in the brand’s lineup: versatile hunting optics and tactical optics for users who want dependable adjustment systems and straightforward operation.

The series spans both second-focal-plane models for close- to mid-range shooting and first-focal-plane options for long-range work, which makes it relevant to recreational shooters, hunters, competitive users and law-enforcement applications. Citadel riflescopes are known for their practical mechanical layout, including exposed tactical turrets on suitable models, fast-focus eyepieces and weather-resistant construction. The emphasis is not on extreme complexity, but on a balanced combination of usable reticles, solid tracking, and optical performance that supports real field shooting rather than bench-only use.

About the Sightmark Citadel 3-18x50 FFP

The Sightmark Citadel 3-18x50 FFP is configured as a versatile long-range and precision-oriented riflescope that still remains manageable on a general-purpose rifle. Its 3-18x magnification range gives it a broad working envelope: at the low end it is practical for scanning and engaging at moderate distances, while the upper end provides the image scale needed for careful shot placement, load development and dialing corrections at longer range. The 50.00 mm objective and fully multi-coated lenses help maintain image brightness and contrast when targets are small, backgrounds are busy, or light is fading.

This model uses an illuminated reticle and 0.10 MIL tactical turrets with a lockable design, making it well suited to shooters who prefer measured corrections rather than simple holdover alone. The multi-turn turrets offer 17.00 mrad of elevation and windage travel, which gives useful adjustment range for distance shooting. Side-focus parallax adjustment from 15 m to infinity adds flexibility for both short-range precision work and extended-range use, while the fast-focus eyepiece helps bring the reticle into sharp focus quickly.

The scope’s 30 mm tube, nitrogen filling, fogproof and shockproof construction, and IPX-6 waterproofing support reliable use in rough weather and changing temperatures from -17 ° / + 49° C. At 330.00 mm and 740.00 g, it offers substantial capability without the bulk of a very high-magnification target scope, making it a practical fit for tactical rifles, hunting rifles and crossover precision setups.
