Safariland Universal Ranger Complete Belt Loop with Leg Strap UBL PLN

• Low-ride belt loop layout: positions the holster lower on the belt for easier access around body armor, chest rigs, or bulky outer garments, helping maintain a cleaner draw stroke in duty and tactical use.
• Integrated leg strap: adds extra stability against the thigh so the holster moves less during running, kneeling, or rapid direction changes, improving control when drawing or reholstering.
• Universal 3-hole pattern compatibility: works with Safariland holsters that use the standard mounting pattern, making it a practical way to adapt an existing holster setup without changing the holster body itself.
• Polymer construction: keeps weight down while providing a rigid mounting platform that stands up well to regular field use, duty wear, and repeated movement.
• Duty-oriented belt attachment: the UBL-style belt loop creates a secure interface between belt and holster mount, helping the setup stay consistent under load and during active movement.

About the Safariland Accessories Series

Safariland Accessories covers the mounting hardware, adapters, loops, and support components that turn a holster into a complete carry system for duty, tactical, and professional use. Rather than focusing on firearm retention alone, this series is built around how the holster rides on the body, how it interfaces with belts and load-bearing equipment, and how securely it stays in place during movement. That makes the range especially relevant for law-enforcement, military, and range users who need to tailor ride height, mounting position, and draw access to their role.

Within the series, Safariland emphasizes modular holster compatibility, durable synthetic construction, and layouts that support stable carry without unnecessary bulk. Belt loops, shrouds, and mounting interfaces are designed to work with established Safariland holster patterns, so users can adapt an existing setup to different missions or clothing systems. In practice, the series is defined by secure attachment, straightforward integration with holsters, and ergonomic carry solutions that help balance access, comfort, and retention support throughout long periods of wear.

About the Safariland Universal Ranger Complete Belt Loop with Leg Strap UBL PLN

The Safariland Universal Ranger Complete Belt Loop with Leg Strap UBL PLN is a holster-mounting accessory built for users who need a more stable, lower-riding carry position than a standard belt-mounted setup. By combining a Universal Belt Loop configuration with a leg strap, it helps keep the holster anchored during movement while placing the grip in a position that is easier to reach when body armor, heavy jackets, or other equipment interfere with a higher ride. That makes it well suited to tactical roles, training use, and professional applications where access and consistency matter more than compactness.

The design uses a polymer body to provide a rigid interface between belt and holster while keeping overall weight manageable. The leg strap adds another point of control, reducing unwanted shifting on the draw and helping the holster stay aligned against the thigh during running, kneeling, or vehicle work. Because it is intended for holsters, its value lies in improving how an existing holster system carries rather than changing the retention mechanism of the holster itself. In practical terms, this accessory supports a more planted feel, more repeatable presentation, and better comfort when a standard belt loop position does not suit the rest of the user’s equipment.

About Safariland

Safariland was established in 1964 by Neale Perkins, who began the business in Sierra Madre, California. The company is now headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida and is known for equipment used by law enforcement, military, fire and rescue, competitive shooting, and everyday carry markets. Its product range extends across holsters, armor, accessories, and communications equipment, giving the brand a strong position in professional protective and carry systems.

In the holster category, Safariland is especially recognized for practical retention and mounting solutions. Systems such as ALS use an internal locking design released by a thumb lever, while the company’s broader accessory ecosystem allows holsters to be adapted to different ride heights and carry methods. That combination of retention design and modular mounting hardware is a major reason Safariland remains a common choice for professional users who need secure carry with role-specific configuration options.
