Safariland 6005 Lightweight Tactical Leg Shroud with Q-R STXTAC

1. Lightweight Polymer Construction: This leg shroud is engineered from a durable and lightweight polymer, ensuring it can withstand rigorous use in tactical environments without adding unnecessary weight. This construction offers a perfect balance of strength and reduced operator fatigue during long periods of wear.

2. Lower Profile Design: Unlike bulkier tactical rigs, this model features a lower profile that sits closer to the leg. This intelligent design minimizes the risk of snagging on obstacles, enhances mobility, and allows for a more streamlined and comfortable carry of a sidearm or accessories.

3. Quick-Release Leg Strap: Equipped with a Quick-Release (Q-R) buckle on its single elastic leg strap, the shroud can be rapidly attached or detached. This feature is crucial for situations requiring quick gear adjustments and provides a secure, non-slip fit during dynamic movement.

4. Safariland 3-Hole Compatibility: The shroud serves as a versatile mounting platform, fully compatible with the extensive range of Safariland holsters and accessories that utilize the brand's standard 3-hole pattern. This allows users to customize their loadout with ease, attaching various holster models and equipment pouches.

ABOUT THE SAFARILAND LIGHTWEIGHT LEG SHROUD W/ Q-R LEG STRAP

The Safariland Lightweight Leg Shroud is a specialized tactical platform designed for operators who prioritize mobility and a streamlined profile. Unlike standard leg rigs, this model is engineered to be significantly lighter and sit closer to the body, reducing bulk and enhancing agility. Its primary distinction is the combination of a lower profile design and a Quick-Release (Q-R) leg strap, which allows for rapid donning and doffing without sacrificing stability. Constructed from high-strength, injection-molded polymer, it is built to endure the demands of duty use. This platform is ideal for law enforcement officers, military personnel, and competitive shooters who need to mount a holster and essential accessories to their leg but require a less cumbersome solution than a full-sized drop-leg system. It provides a secure and stable base for a sidearm, ensuring a consistent draw while on the move.
