Rusan Two-piece quick-release Weaver mount, LM rail

• Quick-release lever system: The adjustable QR levers let the mount be removed and reattached without tools, which is useful for rifles that alternate between optics or need fast transport and storage.
• Two-piece Weaver layout: The split mount leaves more open space around the action and loading area, while still providing a stable platform for an optic with an LM rail.
• Solid recoil lug construction: Because the recoil lug is milled from solid material rather than added as an insert, the mount is built to resist movement under recoil and support repeatable positioning.
• High-grade steel body: Steel construction adds rigidity and long-term wear resistance, which matters on heavier rifles and on setups that are removed and reinstalled regularly.
• Black oxide finish: The dark protective finish helps reduce glare and gives the mount a practical surface for field and range use.

About the Rusan Two-Piece QR Mounts Series

Rusan Two-Piece QR Mounts are built as a practical mounting solution for shooters who want the speed of a detachable system without giving up the solid feel of a steel mount. The series is defined by its two-piece quick-release Weaver design, giving the rifle a more open layout around the receiver while keeping the optic securely supported. Within the range, Rusan offers versions for LM, SR, and VM/ZM rails, making the series relevant to a wide variety of European rail-equipped optics.

A key design feature across the family is the recoil lug milled from solid material, rather than a separate insert. In practice, this supports consistent positioning under recoil and helps the mount maintain repeatability when removed and reattached. The mounts are also made from high-grade steel and CNC-machined from solid material, which suits rifles that see regular field use, transport, and repeated optic changes. Adjustable QR levers complete the concept by allowing the user to set lever tension and position to suit the rifle and optic combination.

About the Rusan Two-piece quick-release Weaver mount, LM rail

The Rusan Two-piece quick-release Weaver mount, LM rail is intended for shooters who use an optic with an LM rail and want the convenience of a detachable mount on a Weaver or Picatinny-style base. Its two-piece format keeps the mounting system compact and leaves more room around the action than a one-piece bridge-style mount, which can be helpful on rifles where access and handling matter as much as secure optic placement.

The mount uses adjustable quick-release levers, allowing the clamping force to be tuned and the lever position arranged to suit the rifle. That makes day-to-day handling easier, especially when the optic is removed for transport, swapped between setups, or taken off to access iron sights or simplify maintenance. The solid-milled recoil lug is an important part of the design because it helps the mount seat consistently and resist shifting under recoil.

Rusan builds this model from high-grade steel with a black oxide finish, giving it the stiffness and surface durability expected from a repeatable detachable mount. For rifles and optics that rely on an LM rail interface, this model offers a straightforward combination of secure engagement, repeatable removal, and a clean two-piece profile suited to both sporting and precision-oriented rifle setups.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company’s roots go back to the Rusan family’s metalworking business established in 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. That background is important because Rusan’s reputation in the shooting optics market is closely tied to practical mounting solutions built around machining expertise.

Today, the company manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, alongside adapter systems for clip-on night-vision and thermal devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, and it remains particularly well known for interfaces that connect optics securely while staying practical in field use.
