Rusan Pivot Mount for Sauer 202, SR Rail

• Pivot quick-release design: The mount lets the scope come off and go back on with a repeatable pivot system, which is useful for transport, maintenance, or switching optics without turning the rifle into a permanent workshop job.
• Built for the Sauer 202: This version is made specifically for the Sauer 202 Standard and Sauer 202 Magnum, giving a rifle-specific fit that suits a classic hunting rifle platform.
• SR rail interface: The mount is configured for the Swarovski SR rail, providing a secure rail-based connection that avoids ring marks and simplifies alignment compared with conventional tube clamping.
• Steel construction: A steel body gives the mount the rigidity and wear resistance needed in a recoil-bearing part, helping the optic stay firmly supported through repeated use in the field.
• Complete mount format: As a complete pivot mount with bases, it provides the full rifle-to-optic mounting solution in one system, which simplifies installation on the intended Sauer 202 platform.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are part of the company’s dedicated line of firearm optics mounts, built around a traditional pivot mounting concept for hunters who want a removable scope setup without giving up a solid mechanical connection. The series includes both complete mounts with bases and pivot mounts supplied without bases, allowing the system to cover different rifle configurations and installation needs.

Within the range, Rusan offers variants for specific rifle makes and models as well as different optic interfaces, including versions for 11 mm prisms, Picatinny rails, and rail-based scope connections. The family also spans multiple scope dimensions, with complete pivot mounts listed for 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm tubes. Across the series, the emphasis is on steel construction and quick-release fixation, which suits practical hunting use where reliability, repeatable handling, and rifle-specific fit matter more than universal one-size-fits-all mounting.

About the Rusan Pivot Mount for Sauer 202, SR Rail

The Rusan Pivot Mount for Sauer 202, SR Rail is a rifle-specific mounting solution for shooters using a Sauer 202 with an optic built on the Swarovski SR rail standard. That combination makes it especially relevant for hunting rifles where a clean, low-profile rail interface is preferred over conventional ring mounting. Because the mount is made for the Sauer 202 platform, it is intended to match the geometry of the rifle rather than serve as a generic adapter.

The practical advantage of the pivot quick-release system is that it allows the optic to be removed and reattached in a controlled, repeatable way. For a field rifle, that can make transport easier, simplify access to the action, or allow an optic change without replacing the entire mounting arrangement. The SR rail interface also brings its own benefit: it supports the scope along the rail rather than clamping around the tube, which helps preserve the optic’s finish and keeps installation straightforward.

Rusan builds this mount from steel, a sensible choice for a component that has to maintain alignment under recoil and repeated handling. As a complete mount, it includes the base portion of the system rather than only the upper rail connection, making it a dedicated Sauer 202 mounting solution for hunters who want a robust detachable setup.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company’s background in metalworking goes back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. That history is reflected in a product range centered on practical firearm accessories made with a strong mechanical focus.

Today, Rusan manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, and Picatinny rails, along with firearm tuning products and a wide selection of adapters for optical devices. The company is also known for adapter clamps for clip-on sights and adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices; it introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009. For products such as pivot mounts, that background matters because it shows long-standing specialization in the interface between rifle and optic.
