Rusan Pivot mount for Merkel SR 1, Pard NV008, one-piece

• One-piece pivot construction: The one-piece layout keeps the mount compact and rigid, which helps maintain stable alignment between the rifle and the Pard NV008 during repeated mounting and removal.
• Device-specific fit for Pard NV008: Built for the Pard NV008 mounting standard, this mount provides a direct interface that simplifies installation and avoids the compromises of more universal adapters.
• Merkel SR 1 compatibility: The lower interface is matched to the Merkel SR 1 standard, giving a dedicated fit for this rifle platform and a cleaner, more secure mounting solution.
• Detachable pivot system: A pivot mount allows the sight to be attached and removed in a controlled, repeatable way, which is especially useful when switching between daytime and night-use setups.
• Steelwork heritage from Croatia: Made by Rusan in Croatia, this mount comes from a manufacturer focused on precision mounting solutions for sporting optics, night vision and thermal devices.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal are built as dedicated mounting solutions for hunters and shooters who use night-vision and thermal devices on established rifle platforms. In Rusan’s current catalog, the series covers a wide spread of compatible devices from brands such as ATN, HIKMICRO, InfiRay, Pard, Pulsar and Yukon, which shows the series’ role as a practical bridge between modern electro-optics and traditional hunting rifles. Rather than relying on one universal pattern, the range is organized around specific device interfaces and rifle mounting standards.

The series includes both complete pivot mounts with bases and upper parts without bases, depending on the rifle and the intended setup. It also spans several mounting interfaces, including 11 mm, 16.5 mm and 19 mm prisms, along with model-specific fits for individual rifles. That approach matters in practice because night-vision and thermal optics often need a mount that sits correctly on a particular action or rail geometry, with enough stability for repeatable use. Across the range, the design philosophy is straightforward: a dedicated mechanical fit, quick detachability, and compatibility tailored to real hunting applications rather than generic cross-platform use.

About the Rusan Pivot mount for Merkel SR 1, Pard NV008, one-piece

The Rusan Pivot mount for Merkel SR 1, Pard NV008, one-piece is a dedicated detachable mount made for pairing a Pard NV008 with a rifle that uses the Merkel SR 1 standard. Its main advantage is specificity. Instead of adapting a general-purpose rail mount to a night-vision device, this model is built around the exact upper interface required by the NV008 and the exact lower fit needed for the rifle platform. That makes the setup cleaner, more secure and easier to manage in the field.

The one-piece construction is important for a digital night-vision setup because it keeps the mounting assembly simple and rigid. Fewer separate parts generally mean fewer opportunities for movement between the rifle and the optic, which is valuable when the sight is removed and reattached as part of a day-to-night routine. The pivot-mount format also suits users who want a detachable solution rather than a permanent installation. It gives the rifle a purpose-built interface for the NV008 while preserving the practical convenience of a removable mount.

Finished in black, this Rusan mount is best understood as a mechanical interface designed for reliability rather than adjustment or added bulk. It does not try to be universal; its value lies in being matched to one device family and one rifle standard. For hunters using a Pard NV008 on a compatible Merkel platform, that dedicated fit is the feature that matters most.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company’s metalworking roots go back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the business began producing scope mounts in 1993. That background is directly relevant here, because Rusan’s reputation has been built around the mechanical side of shooting optics: mounts, rings, rails and related hardware that connect optics securely to specific rifle platforms.

Today, the company manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails and firearm tuning products, and it is also well known for adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, reinforcing its position in the field of modern hunting optics accessories. The brand’s product range reflects a practical engineering focus, with many model-specific solutions for rifles and electro-optics where precise fit and repeatable attachment matter more than broad universality.
