Rusan Pivot mount for Mauser M96, Pard NV008, one-piece

• Pivot quick-release design: The mount lets the Pard NV008 be attached and removed with the repeatable handling expected from a pivot system, which is useful when a rifle alternates between day and digital night-use setups.
• One-piece upper for Pard NV008: This version is made specifically for the Pard NV008 mounting standard, giving a direct, purpose-built interface instead of relying on improvised adapters.
• Rifle-specific fit for Mauser M96: Built for the Mauser M96 (1896), the mount matches the rifle platform it is intended for, helping maintain correct alignment and a clean installation.
• Steel pivot-mount construction: Rusan pivot mounts are specified as steel, which suits a mounting system that must resist wear at the locking and pivot points over repeated installation cycles.
• Detachable hunting setup: As a detachable one-piece mount, it supports practical field use where the sight may need to be removed for transport, storage, or a change of optic configuration.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are part of the company’s dedicated line of firearm optics mounts, developed for shooters who want a removable mounting solution without giving up a rifle-specific fit. In Rusan’s catalogue, the series covers both complete mounts with bases and pivot-mount upper assemblies supplied without bases, which makes the range broad enough for traditional rifles, modern mounting interfaces, and specialist sighting devices.

A defining characteristic of the series is its use of steel construction together with quick-release fixation. In practice, that combination suits hunting rifles and other field firearms where the optic may be removed and reinstalled as conditions change. The range is not limited to conventional scope tubes either; Rusan also offers versions for different mounting interfaces and for digital, thermal, and night-vision devices. That makes the series especially relevant to users building a rifle around a specific optic standard rather than a generic ring size. Across the line, the design philosophy is straightforward: a secure mechanical connection, a model-specific fit, and a detachable format that remains practical for regular use.

About the Rusan Pivot mount for Mauser M96, Pard NV008, one-piece

The Rusan Pivot mount for Mauser M96, Pard NV008, one-piece is a rifle-specific mounting solution for users who want to fit a Pard NV008 to a Mauser M96 with the handling advantages of a pivot system. Instead of adapting a general-purpose mount, this model is configured around the NV008 mounting standard and the geometry of the Mauser platform, which makes it a more coherent choice for a dedicated hunting or night-use rifle setup.

The one-piece layout is important in practical use because it provides a direct interface for the compatible sight and keeps the mounting arrangement simple. That matters with digital optics, where stable positioning and repeatable attachment are more useful than unnecessary modularity. As a detachable pivot mount, it also suits rifles that may be used in more than one configuration, allowing the sight to be removed when needed while retaining the advantages of a purpose-built mount design.

Rusan’s pivot mounts are listed with steel construction, a sensible choice for a component that must handle repeated locking, unlocking, and field use without excessive wear at the contact points. Finished in black, this mount keeps a low-profile appearance on the rifle while matching the look of most modern digital optics. Overall, this model is aimed at users who need a clean, dedicated way to mount a Pard NV008 on a Mauser M96 rather than a universal compromise.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company’s roots in metalworking go back to 1983. The business grew from the Rusan family’s engineering background, with Željko Rusan opening a gunsmith shop in 1986 before the company moved into scope-mount production in 1993. That long focus on machining and firearms hardware is directly relevant to products such as pivot mounts, rails, and optic interfaces.

Rusan is known for manufacturing scope mounts, scope rings, and Picatinny rails, along with firearm tuning components and adapters for specialist optics. The company also developed adapter clamps for clip-on sights and introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009. Today, its range covers traditional riflescope mounting solutions as well as adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices, which explains why the brand is widely associated with practical mounting systems for both conventional and digital hunting optics.
