Rusan 30 mm Pivot Mount Without Bases, Zastava M70

• 30 mm scope fit: Built for riflescopes with a 30 mm main tube, this mount gives a secure steel interface for common hunting optics without adding adapters or improvised inserts.
• Pivot quick-release design: The pivot mounting system lets the scope be detached and reattached quickly, which is useful when switching optics, transporting the rifle, or accessing the action more easily.
• Steel construction: A steel body brings the rigidity and wear resistance expected from a recoil-bearing mount, helping the optic stay aligned through repeated use in the field.
• Made for the Zastava M70: This version is configured for the Zastava M70 bolt-action, giving a rifle-specific fit rather than a generic mounting solution.
• Without bases: Supplied as the upper pivot mount only, it is intended for rifles that already use compatible pivot bases, making it practical for replacing or upgrading the top half of an existing setup.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are part of the company’s dedicated line of firearm optics mounts, developed for shooters who want a detachable system without giving up the solid feel of a steel hunting mount. In the Rusan range, the series covers both complete mounts with bases and pivot mounts sold without bases, which makes it suitable for new rifle builds as well as replacements for existing installations.

The series is defined by its steel construction and quick-release fixation, combining the traditional pivot concept with practical day-to-day handling. Rusan offers these mounts for a wide variety of rifle makes and mounting interfaces, including model-specific versions for rifles such as Anschutz and Antonio Zoli, as well as variants for 11 mm prism and Picatinny rail platforms. Tube-size options across the family include 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm, so the series can support everything from compact hunting scopes to larger optics. The overall design philosophy is straightforward: a rifle-specific pivot mount that removes cleanly, locks back into place quickly, and keeps the installation mechanically robust for regular field use.

About the Rusan 30 mm Pivot Mount Without Bases, Zastava M70

The Rusan 30 mm Pivot Mount Without Bases, Zastava M70 is a rifle-specific upper mount for shooters who already have compatible pivot bases installed and need a matching top assembly for a 30 mm riflescope. Because it is made for the Zastava M70 platform, it suits traditional hunting rifle setups where secure fit and repeatable handling matter more than universal compatibility.

Its main advantage is the combination of a pivot quick-release layout with steel construction. In practice, that gives the user a mount that can be removed when needed for transport, maintenance, or optic changes, while still providing the rigid clamping surface expected for a scope on a centerfire bolt-action rifle. The 0 MOA inclination keeps the setup neutral, which is appropriate for general-purpose sighting rather than a built-in long-range cant. The specified KR 0.0 mm extension reflects a standard, non-extended configuration, helping keep the mount aligned with the intended rifle geometry.

This version is also a sensible choice for owners of rifles already set up around the Rusan or EAW-style pivot base pattern listed for the action family. Since the bases are not included, it works best as part of an existing pivot system or a planned custom installation. For a hunting optic on the Zastava M70, that means a clean, detachable mounting solution that stays focused on fit, strength, and straightforward use.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer whose metalworking roots go back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. Based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, Rusan-Mikron focuses on practical firearm-interface components rather than general sporting goods.

The company’s product range includes scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, along with adapter systems for modern electro-optics. Rusan is also well known for its adapter clamps for clip-on sights and for interfaces used with night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. That background is relevant here because it shows a long-standing specialization in the mechanical connection between rifle and optic: precise fit, repeatable attachment, and compatibility across many rifle models, including platforms such as the Zastava M70.
