Pachmayr Grip Extender for Ruger LCP

• Improved Grip Length: Extends the Ruger LCP grip area so more of the hand stays on the pistol, helping reduce the cramped feel common to very small carry guns.
• Better Control in Recoil: The added gripping surface gives the little finger a more secure place to rest, which helps steady the pistol during firing and follow-up shots.
• Factory-Matched Shape and Texture: Designed to match the pistol’s lines and surface pattern, it keeps the handgun’s compact profile while looking integrated rather than improvised.
• Tough Polymer Construction: The polymer body is built for regular carry and range use, giving the extension the durability needed for repeated magazine handling and daily wear.
• Two-Pack Convenience: Supplied as a pack of two, it allows both magazines to be fitted the same way so grip feel stays consistent during reloads.

About the Pachmayr Accessories Series

Pachmayr Accessories covers a broad range of practical shooting components built around better handling, fit and comfort. The series includes handgun and revolver grips, rifle grips and recoil pads for long guns, reflecting Pachmayr’s long-standing focus on the parts of a firearm the shooter actually touches. Within the handgun segment, the line spans everything from slip-on rubber grips to G10 Tactical and Renegade laminate options, giving shooters solutions for concealed carry pistols, service handguns and revolvers alike.

What ties the series together is a straightforward design approach: improve purchase, control and shooting comfort without unnecessary bulk. In products such as grip extenders, that means adding usable gripping surface to compact pistols while keeping the shape close to the original frame and magazine profile. Across the wider series, Pachmayr is known for practical textures, durable materials and fit patterns developed for common sporting, defensive and field handguns. The result is a family of accessories aimed at shooters who want a more secure hold and more natural handling from the firearms they already own.

About the Pachmayr Grip Extender for Ruger LCP

The Pachmayr Grip Extender for Ruger LCP is a simple accessory with a very specific purpose: make an ultra-compact pistol easier to hold without turning it into a larger handgun. On pistols in the LCP class, the short grip is excellent for discreet carry but can leave the shooting hand with limited contact area. This extender addresses that problem by adding length where it matters most, giving the shooter a more complete hold and improving leverage over the pistol during firing.

Because it is made from polymer and shaped for the Ruger LCP, the extender keeps weight low while maintaining a clean, factory-like fit. Pachmayr’s grip extender design is intended to match the pistol’s shape and texture, so the finished setup remains compact and visually consistent. In practical use, that means better comfort during training, more confidence when drawing and firing, and less tendency for the pistol to shift in the hand under recoil.

This model is especially well suited to concealed-carry owners who want to preserve the LCP’s small footprint while gaining a steadier purchase. Pachmayr also supplies these extenders in a two-pack, which is useful for keeping multiple magazines set up the same way. The result is a small upgrade that can make a noticeable difference in control, consistency and overall handling.

About Pachmayr

Pachmayr was founded by Frank Pachmayr in 1929 and built its reputation around practical firearm accessories that improve handling and shooting comfort. The brand’s early history included a custom gun shop in Los Angeles, California, and over time it became especially well known for recoil pads, handgun grips and workshop accessories for shooters and gunsmiths. Pachmayr introduced its first recoil pad in 1949, and its rubber handgun grips reached the market in the early 1960s.

Today, Pachmayr forms part of Lyman, which the brand joined in 1996. Its catalog includes handgun grips, recoil pads, gunsmithing tools and related shooting accessories, with recognized product families such as Diamond Pro, G10, Renegade and American Legend. Manufacturing later moved to Prescott Valley, Arizona in 2014. Across these lines, Pachmayr remains associated with durable materials, practical ergonomics and accessories designed for real use on sporting and defensive firearms.
