Osuma QD Rings for Tikka, 36 mm

• Quick-detachable design: The Osuma QD Rings let a riflescope be removed and reattached quickly, which is useful when switching optics or transporting the rifle while keeping the setup practical in the field.
• Repeatable return to zero: The QD series is built to retain zero after detachment and reattachment, reducing the need for repeated sight-in and making it well suited to rifles that use more than one optic.
• Made for Tikka 17 mm rails: This version is configured specifically for the Tikka rail interface, giving a direct fit that suits hunting rifles and avoids the extra bulk of adapter-based solutions.
• 36 mm ring diameter: The rings are sized for 36 mm scope tubes, supporting larger premium optics that need a strong mounting platform for demanding hunting or precision shooting setups.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight down while maintaining the rigidity needed in a scope mount, helping preserve rifle balance without giving up durability.

About the Osuma QD Rings Series

Osuma QD Rings belong to the brand’s Quick Detachable Mounts family and are built for shooters who want a mount that can be removed without turning the rifle into a permanent single-optic setup. In the Osuma lineup, this series sits as a practical solution for hunters and rifle owners who may alternate between optics, remove a scope for transport, or need a mount that can be detached for maintenance and then fitted again with confidence.

Designed and manufactured in Finland, the series reflects a straightforward mechanical approach: low weight, solid clamping and repeatable positioning on the rifle. Osuma describes the QD range as made to retain zero after detachment and reattachment, which is the defining benefit of the series. Within the family, configurations are offered for different mounting standards, including Picatinny variants in 30 mm and 36 mm tube sizes, with multiple ring heights available. That makes the QD concept suitable for everything from conventional hunting optics to larger-tube riflescopes that need a more substantial mounting interface.

About the Osuma QD Rings for Tikka, 36 mm

Osuma QD Rings for Tikka, 36 mm are built for rifles that use the Tikka 17 mm rail and for riflescopes with a 36 mm main tube. That combination makes this model especially relevant for modern premium optics with larger tubes, where mount strength and consistent alignment matter just as much as simple fit. By matching the Tikka rail directly, the mount keeps the installation clean and purpose-built rather than relying on extra interfaces.

The main advantage of this model is its quick-detachable, repeatable design. In practical use, that means the scope can be removed for storage, travel or swapping to another sighting system, then reinstalled with the expectation that the rifle remains properly aligned. For hunters, this is useful when one rifle serves more than one role. For precision-oriented shooters, it adds flexibility without giving up the stability expected from a dedicated ring mount.

The aluminium construction helps keep overall weight under control, which is important on a hunting rifle that may be carried all day, while the black finish gives the mount a subdued appearance that matches most rifles and optics. As a detachable and repeatable mount, this Osuma model is less about adding complexity and more about making a larger 36 mm riflescope practical on a Tikka platform.

About Osuma

Osuma is a Finland-based brand focused primarily on rifle scope mounting. Its history goes back to the early 1990s, when the owner developed the first mounts for his own hunting and benchrest shooting needs. That background still shows in the company’s product focus, which centers on practical mounting solutions rather than broad general shooting accessories.

The range includes scope mounts, scope rings, rail mounts, red-dot and holosight mounts, and suppressors, with products for systems such as 11 mm, Tikka 17 mm, Sako, Picatinny, Optilock and Blaser. Osuma scope rings are made from aluminum with an anodized surface, and the brand’s products are designed and manufactured in Finland. The company has passed from father to son, and its long specialization in mounting hardware gives Osuma a strong identity in this category.
