Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for Sig Sauer

• LED-illuminated sight picture: The Mepro Evergreen system uses illuminated front and rear dots to keep the sight picture visible in both bright daylight and low light, helping the shooter pick up the sights faster without changing technique.
• Dot-and-bar alignment: This layout gives a clear visual reference for rapid front-sight centering, making it easier to confirm alignment quickly on defensive drills and close-range target transitions.
• Fixed metal sight set: A fixed configuration keeps the setup simple and durable for everyday carry or duty use, with no adjustment controls to snag or shift during regular handling.
• Five-year continuous power concept: The Evergreen series is designed around long-duration LED operation, reducing maintenance concerns and making the sights practical for a pistol that stays ready over extended periods.
• Sig Sauer-specific fit: Built for compatible Sig Sauer pistols, this sight set offers a dedicated replacement option for shooters who want an illuminated iron-sight upgrade rather than a generic fit solution.

About the Mepro Evergreen Series

Mepro Evergreen is Meprolight’s LED-illuminated pistol sight series, developed for shooters who want a sight picture that remains easy to read in both daytime and nighttime conditions. Within the company’s handgun-sight range, the series sits as a modern alternative to conventional iron sights and tritium-based options, combining a familiar three-dot presentation with battery-powered illumination. Meprolight states that the system is designed for five consecutive years of operation, which suits pistols kept for regular carry, home defense, or duty use where constant readiness matters.

The series is built around practical speed. Its illuminated sight picture is intended to support aiming on stationary and moving targets, and the metal front and rear housings are arranged to give a clear, repeatable reference under stress. Depending on the pistol model, Evergreen sights are offered with an illuminated front sight and a rear sight shaped with either a U-notch or square notch. The concept stays straightforward: preserve the handling and durability of a fixed pistol sight set while adding a bright, easy-to-acquire alignment system that works across changing light conditions.

About the Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for Sig Sauer

The Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for Sig Sauer is a dedicated handgun night sight set for shooters who want a brighter, easier-to-read iron sight picture on a compatible Sig Sauer pistol. Its main advantage is not complexity but clarity: the illuminated dot arrangement gives the eye a fast reference in dim interiors, on shaded ranges, and in transitional light where plain black sights can disappear. Because the system keeps the familiar pistol-sight format, it supports a natural presentation from the holster and does not require the shooter to learn a different aiming method.

The dot-and-bar alignment helps the front sight stand out while still giving a clear rear reference, which is useful for quick defensive strings and short-to-medium handgun distances. This pattern can speed up visual confirmation when the pistol is brought on target quickly, especially for shooters who prefer an intuitive sight picture over a fine target-style notch. The fixed sight adjustment also suits a carry or service pistol well, since it prioritizes robustness and consistency over user-adjustable controls.

Finished in black, the sight bodies keep a low-profile, duty-oriented appearance that fits the role of a practical defensive upgrade. As part of the Evergreen family, this Sig Sauer version combines the familiar handling of iron sights with LED-based illumination intended for constant readiness, making it a sensible option for users who rely on their pistol across varied lighting conditions.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company is a division of SK Group and focuses on the development and manufacture of optical and electro-optical sighting systems. Its work spans conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, and thermal sights, reflecting a broad specialization in aiming solutions rather than a single product niche.

The company’s catalog covers sighting systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines, along with magnified optics, magnifiers, night-vision systems, and thermal devices. That breadth is relevant here because Meprolight’s handgun sights come from a manufacturer with long experience serving military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets. In practical terms, that background shows in products built around fast target acquisition, straightforward operation, and durable construction for hard field use.
