March Genesis 6-60x56 Product description

  • Genesis external-adjustment system: the scope body tilts as elevation is added, giving the shooter access to 400 MOA of total elevation travel without external accessories and helping keep the sightline in the central part of the lens for more consistent image quality at extreme distance.
  • 6-60x magnification range: this unusually wide zoom span lets one riflescope cover load development, F-Class, ELR and precise target work, with enough low-end magnification for setup and spotting and enough top-end magnification for reading fine detail on distant targets.
  • High Master optics with Super ED glass: March’s premium lens system is built to reduce chromatic aberration and preserve contrast, which matters when mirage, small aiming points and long-range target definition make image clarity critical.
  • FFP illuminated reticle: the first focal plane layout keeps reticle subtensions consistent throughout the zoom range, while the red illumination helps the aiming point stand out against dark targets or shaded backers.
  • Locking tactical turrets with Zero Stop: exposed turrets support deliberate dialing, the locking function helps prevent accidental movement during transport, and Zero Stop gives a fast, reliable return to the base setting after long strings of elevation adjustment.

About the March Genesis Series

The March Genesis series was developed as a specialist line for shooters who need extreme elevation travel without relying on inclined rails, prism systems or other external solutions. Introduced with the 6-60x56 model in 2018 and later joined by the 4-40x52 Mini Genesis, the series stands apart in the March lineup through its external-adjustment design, where the scope itself tilts as elevation is dialed. In practical terms, that approach helps maintain the optical path through the central portion of the objective lens even when a rifle is set up for very long distances.

Genesis riflescopes are aimed at ELR and F-Class shooting, where large elevation reserves, precise tracking and image quality at high magnification matter more than compact dimensions. The series combines this mechanical concept with March’s High Master lens system, including Super ED glass and a Temperature Anti-Drift Lens System, to control color fringing and maintain a stable image across changing conditions. First focal plane reticles and wide-angle eyepieces are standard characteristics of the family, reinforcing its role as a purpose-built platform for disciplined long-range and precision shooting rather than a general-purpose hunting optic.

About the March Genesis 6-60x56

The March Genesis 6-60x56 is the original full-size expression of the Genesis concept, built for shooters who need both very high magnification and an unusually large amount of elevation adjustment in one riflescope. Its 6-60x zoom range makes it suitable for disciplines where target size, distance and atmospheric conditions can change from relay to relay. At the lower end, the scope remains manageable for setup, target acquisition and reading conditions; at the upper end, it gives the magnification needed for fine aiming and careful shot correction at extended range.

What makes this model different from a conventional long-range riflescope is its 400 MOA / 114 mrad elevation travel and the Genesis tilting-body architecture behind it. For ELR use, that means more dialing range without adding external accessories, while also helping the image stay clear when large corrections are applied. The 56 mm objective works with the fully multicoated optical system to support contrast and resolution, and the fast-focus eyepiece helps the shooter sharpen the reticle quickly for individual eyesight.

This version uses a first focal plane illuminated reticle, so hold values stay proportional across the magnification range, an important advantage when moving between dialing and holding or when magnification must be adjusted to suit mirage. The locking tactical turrets, Zero Stop and side parallax adjustment from 20 m to infinity reinforce its role as a serious tactical or competition riflescope for precise, repeatable long-range work.

About March

March is the riflescope brand of DEON Optical Design Corporation, a Japanese company established in 2004 and headquartered in Chino, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. DEON designs and manufactures custom rifle scopes, and March products are assembled in Japan using Japanese-made components. The brand is known for specialist optics rather than broad mass-market lines, with families such as March-FX, March-X, Genesis and High Master covering benchrest, tactical and extreme long-range applications.

March built its reputation on high-magnification precision scopes, beginning with its first 40x52 mm benchrest scope in 2007. The company later expanded its optical technology with Super ED lenses, introduced to the March range in 2017, and with the High Master lens system that combines Super ED and high-refractive-index elements. For products such as the Genesis 6-60x56, that background matters because it reflects a design philosophy centered on precise tracking, advanced lens design and purpose-built solutions for demanding long-range shooting.

I want buy this item for a Multicaliber ELR Rifle - 375 CheyTac - 416 Barnett - 12,7x108mm (not 12,7x99 OTAN, the Russian version) Is the recoil acceptable for this Rifle scope ? Thanks

by ELR Shooter

Dear Sir,

thank you for your message.

This riflescope withstands the recoil of the 375 Cheytac and the 416 Barrett calibers but unfortunately, we are unable to confirm its compatibility with the 12.7x108mm caliber.

For precise information about its suitability with the 12.7x108mm, we recommend directly contacting the manufacturer. They would have the expertise to provide detailed insights regarding its compatibility with this specific caliber.

Should you need any further assistance or have additional queries, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].

Thank you for your understanding.

If I mount the scope on 60MOA rail then will I be able to zero the rifle at 100 meters?

by Krzak

Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm because we are missing a few key information. A lot comes down to the caliber and characteristics of the ammo (bullet drop). Also, pLease note that 60 MOA rails are usually not intended for close-range shooting.

Thank you for your understanding.

If you will need any additional information please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Kind Regards

I'm thinking about using it on CDX-40 in .375 CT https://www.cadexdefence.com/products/cdx-precision-rifles/cdx-40-shadow/ and trying to figure out the right rail angle. Still not sure about the actual bullet, but it gives you some idea as it has 1:10 twist rate. I won't be shooting from it at 100m, but sometimes it may be required.

by Krzak

Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting us again.

Zeroing at 100 meters with a 60 MOA base should not be a problem.
If you see the barrel through the scope, you have to mount the higher riser, which is included in the scope.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at [email protected]. We are here to help.

The scope support a 50MoA Rail maximum

by ELR Shooter

Cadex 40 is available with a 40 MoA Rail
It give you a total 390 MoA available enough for 4630m for my rifle (38" then a little faster than your Cadex)...
Just for your understanding with a 0 MoA rail you still have 4420m of range, then 60 MoA will not add more than 100-150m of range compared to 40 MoA...

"400 MOA of total elevation travel with Zero-set feature (350 up, 50 down) and 150 MOA of total windage travel (75 MOA left and right)."

by ELR Shooter

Hello, I am interested in purchasing the March Genesis 60X scope. However, do you have a model with a 0 MOA scope mount? I believe the mount on these scopes already point them downwards? My rifle already has a 20 MOA picatinny rail.

Thanks.

-John

by John

This riflescope is mounted on a Picatinny rail. Please note that the riflescope has 400 MOA of elevation which means that you don't require much more of elevation on the mount.

Is a good choice for one mile competition ??

by Luigi

It definitely is, since the riflescope is designed for the so-called (ELR shooters) extreme-long range shooter. The scope is designed with an incredible elevation range of 400 MOA which is suitable for the longest possible shots with heavy caliber rifles.

by Optics Trade team

just checking price may go with used or blemished if possible

by James

The price of this scope is 6279 EUR.

However, we do not export these scopes outside of EU.
