MAKuick Base for CZ 550

• Quick-release design: The MAKuick system lets the optic and mount come off the rifle quickly, which is useful for transport, switching optics, or returning the rifle to iron-sight use without turning the setup into a permanent installation.
• Repeatable fit for CZ-pattern actions: Built for the 19 mm dovetail used on compatible CZ and BRNO rifles, this base gives a model-specific interface that supports consistent positioning and dependable return to the rifle.
• Steel construction: A steel base suits hard field use, resisting wear at the contact points and providing the rigidity needed for a secure mounting platform on hunting rifles.
• 0 MOA inclination: The 0 MOA layout keeps the optic in a neutral alignment, making it a practical choice for general hunting and sporting setups where a straightforward zero is preferred over built-in cant.
• Made in Germany: German manufacture reflects MAK’s focus on precise fit and clean machining, which matters on detachable mounts where repeatable engagement and secure locking are more important than cosmetic detail alone.

About the MAKuick Series

MAKuick is a family of quick-release mounts for rifle optics, developed for shooters who want the convenience of a detachable setup without giving up a secure, rifle-specific fit. Within MAK’s lineup, the series covers one-piece mounts configured for particular rifle models and optic interfaces, including versions for factory-prepared rifles. That approach keeps the system focused on practical compatibility rather than a one-size-fits-all design.

The series is aimed at hunters and shooting-sports enthusiasts who may need to remove an optic for transport, swap between sighting systems, or use one rifle with different optical setups. Across the range, the emphasis is on repeatable attachment, straightforward handling, and compact mechanical design. Some MAKuick variants have been offered with standard or folding levers, while the newer MAKuick 3 line adds tool-free adjustment and a lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum construction for Picatinny-based applications. In the broader family, the common idea is fast removal, secure lock-up, and a mount geometry matched to the rifle it is built for.

About the MAKuick Base for CZ 550

The MAKuick Base for CZ 550 is a detachable steel base made for rifles that use the 19 mm dovetail pattern found on a range of compatible CZ and BRNO actions. It is a sensible choice for hunters and sporting rifle users who want a mounting platform that matches the receiver geometry of these rifles instead of relying on a more generic adapter solution. That model-specific fit helps keep installation tidy and supports consistent engagement of the mount on the rifle.

Its steel construction is well suited to repeated attachment and removal, especially on rifles that see regular field use. Steel provides durable bearing surfaces and a solid foundation for the locking parts of a quick-detach system, which is important when the mount is expected to come off and go back on without unnecessary play. The black finish keeps the appearance understated and appropriate for traditional hunting rifles.

With 0 MOA inclination, this base is intended for standard optic mounting rather than built-in long-range cant. That makes it a practical match for conventional hunting distances and general sporting use, where a neutral mounting angle simplifies scope setup. The listed KR 0.0 mm extension also indicates a standard, non-offset configuration, keeping the optic position centered around the rifle’s native mounting area. Overall, this MAK mount base is built around secure attachment, repeatable removal, and compatibility with classic CZ 550-pattern rifles.

About MAK

MAK is a German brand associated with Kilic Feintechnik GmbH in Schwebheim, Germany. The company develops and manufactures optical mounts, optics, and electronic products, serving civilian users as well as government and professional markets. Its product range covers hunting and sporting applications, with lines that include MAKdot red-dot sights, MAKstorm prism sights, MAKpro riflescopes, and the MAKuick family of rifle mounts.

A notable part of MAK’s identity is its work on both standardized products and customized solutions, particularly where secure mounting and practical field use matter. The MAK Group also identifies patented solutions across its optics, mounts, and electronics. In the context of rifle mounting systems, that background is relevant because it shows a clear specialization in the mechanical interface between firearm and optic, not just in standalone sighting products.
