MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, FN Browning BLR / CLR, ZM/VM Rail

• Steel pivot construction: The steel upper assembly gives the mount the rigidity needed for repeatable scope alignment and dependable lock-up under recoil, making it well suited to hunting rifles that are carried often and expected to hold zero.
• Zeiss ZM/VM rail interface: Built for optics with the Zeiss ZM / VM rail, this version avoids separate rings and supports a clean, secure connection that helps preserve scope alignment and simplifies installation on compatible rail-equipped optics.
• Adjustable windage: Windage adjustment in the mount helps center the optic mechanically over the rifle, which can preserve more internal scope adjustment for zeroing and fine correction at distance.
• 15.50 mm build height: The moderate mounting height helps balance objective clearance with a practical cheek weld, supporting a natural shooting position without making the optic sit unnecessarily high above the bore.
• 0 MOA inclination: A flat, non-canted configuration suits general hunting and sporting use, where a straightforward zero and uncomplicated sight picture matter more than built-in elevation bias for extreme long-range shooting.

About the MAKlassic Series

MAKlassic is MAK’s traditional two-piece pivot-mount series, documented in the company’s catalogues by 2019 and built around the needs of hunters and rifle owners who want a removable optic mount with a classic mechanical layout. The series includes versions with rotating locks and lever locks, along with configurations for both scope tubes and optic rails, so it covers a wide range of rifles and sighting systems without changing the basic concept.

A defining characteristic of the series is its model-specific approach. MAKlassic mounts are configured for particular rifle models, and the range also includes different mount heights and front-foot offsets to match the geometry of the firearm and the optic. In practice, that makes the series especially relevant for sporting rifles and break-action firearms where fit, eye alignment, and repeatable positioning matter as much as raw strength. Within MAK’s lineup, MAKlassic sits as a mechanically focused mounting solution for users who prefer a proven pivot design and compatibility tailored to specific rifle platforms.

About the MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, FN Browning BLR / CLR, ZM/VM Rail

The MAKlassic Pivot upper parts for FN Browning BLR / CLR with Zeiss ZM / VM Rail are designed for shooters who want to pair a rail-equipped Zeiss optic with a classic pivot-mount system on a compatible rifle platform. Because this is the upper assembly for a pivot mount, its job is to provide the optic-side interface and maintain stable positioning when used with the appropriate lower bases. That makes it a practical choice for hunting rifles where the optic may need to be removed and reattached while preserving dependable alignment.

The use of a Zeiss ZM / VM rail interface is the key feature of this version. Instead of clamping a scope in rings, the mount engages the rail profile directly, which supports a tidy installation and avoids ring marks on the scope body. For users of premium rail-mounted hunting optics, that means a neater fit and a mounting solution matched to the scope’s intended attachment system. The adjustable windage adds another practical advantage by allowing the optic to be centered more precisely over the rifle, which can help keep more of the riflescope’s internal adjustment range in reserve for zeroing.

Its steel construction favors durability and secure engagement, while the 15.50 mm height and 0 MOA inclination suit conventional hunting setups rather than specialized long-range builds. In use, this configuration supports a straightforward sight line, solid mechanical fit, and a mounting layout that matches the needs of traditional sporting rifles.
