MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount, Rotational Lock, Zeiss ZM / VM Rail

• One-piece pivot design: The single-piece bridge keeps the optic interface aligned as one unit, which helps maintain a consistent fit and simplifies installation on compatible pivot bases.
• Rotational lock system: The rotating lock gives the mount a secure closing action with repeatable handling, making it practical for shooters who remove and refit an optic in the field.
• Zeiss ZM / VM rail interface: Built for Zeiss rail-equipped optics, this version avoids ring clamping and supports a clean, low-profile connection with precise positioning.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight under control while still providing the rigidity needed for a stable optic platform on hunting rifles and break-action firearms.
• Low 4.00 mm build height: A low mounting height helps preserve a natural cheek weld and keeps the sight line close to the bore for more comfortable, instinctive shooting.

About the MAKflex Series

MAKflex is MAK’s modular pivot bridge mount family for rifles and break-action firearms. The series is built around the idea that one mounting concept should adapt to different optic footprints and different rifle platforms without giving up the familiar handling of a classic pivot mount. Within the range, MAK offers versions for scope tubes as well as optic interfaces such as Picatinny, Zeiss, Swarovski, and Aimpoint Micro, along with different pivot-foot options to match specific base systems.

A defining trait of the series is its modularity. MAKflex configurations are available with either a rotating lock or a lever lock, and the line also includes platform-specific variants for EAW base plates, Merkel mounts, Leupold Quick Release bases, original Steyr mounts, and a shorter MAKflex Short version. In practice, that makes the series well suited to hunters and shooters who want the accessibility of a pivot mount while still matching the mount closely to their rifle and optic combination.

About the MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount, Rotational Lock, Zeiss ZM / VM Rail

The MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount, Rotational Lock, Zeiss ZM / VM Rail is configured for shooters using a Zeiss ZM / VM rail optic and a compatible dovetail-type pivot base. Its one-piece bridge format gives the mount a unified structure across the optic interface, which is especially useful when a stable, neatly integrated mounting solution is preferred over separate rings. Because this version is made specifically for the Zeiss rail standard, it suits optics that are designed to mount directly by rail rather than by tube clamping.

The rotational lock is the defining mechanical feature of this model. It provides a positive closing action that supports repeatable attachment and removal, which is valuable on hunting rifles where an optic may be taken off for transport or swapped between setups built around the same pivot-base concept. The low 4.00 mm build height also matters in practical use: it helps keep the optic close to the bore line, improving head position and making the rifle feel more natural when mounting quickly to the shoulder.

Its aluminium construction balances strength with moderate weight, so the mount adds less bulk while still providing the rigidity expected from a premium optic interface. For hunters using break-action firearms or traditional rifles with pivot bases, this MAKflex mount offers a clean combination of low height, rail-specific fit, and secure locking operation.

About MAK

MAK is a German brand associated with Kilic Feintechnik GmbH in Schwebheim, Germany. The company develops and manufactures optical mounts, optics, and electronic products, covering both standardized products and customized solutions for professional use. Its product portfolio spans mounting systems as well as sighting products such as MAKdot red-dot sights, MAKstorm prism sights, and MAKpro riflescopes.

Within the shooting and hunting optics field, MAK is particularly known for combining mechanical mounting expertise with a broader technical range that also includes electronic products such as the MAKcam. The MAK Group identifies patented solutions across its optics, mounts, and electronics, and its products are used by hunters, sports shooters, and professional users in civilian and government markets. That background is directly relevant to a product like the MAKflex, where precise fit, repeatable handling, and durable mechanical design are central to the mount’s purpose.
