MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for Original Steyr, 34 mm

• One-piece pivot construction: Keeps both rings aligned in a single unit, which helps maintain consistent scope positioning and simplifies installation on compatible Steyr pivot bases.
• 34 mm scope interface: Fits modern riflescopes with larger main tubes, giving secure support for optics that often offer greater adjustment range and stronger internal construction.
• Original Steyr compatibility: Built for Steyr Original Pivot Scope Mounts, so it matches the rifle’s existing mounting standard and supports a clean, model-specific fit.
• Aluminium body: Reduces unnecessary weight while still providing the rigidity needed for dependable optic support on a hunting or sporting rifle.
• Made in Germany: Reflects MAK’s emphasis on precise machining and repeatable fit, which matters when a mount must return the scope to the same position after handling and field use.

About the MAKflex Series

MAKflex is MAK’s modular pivot bridge mount family for rifles and break-action firearms. The series is built around the idea that a traditional pivot mount can also be flexible in configuration, allowing different ring diameters and pivot-foot options for a wide range of rifle and optic combinations. That makes the line especially relevant for hunters and shooters who want the classic handling of a pivot system without being limited to a single scope format.

Within MAK’s mounting range, MAKflex sits as a versatile solution for users who need a rifle-specific fit combined with broader optic compatibility. The series is offered with either a rotating lock or a lever lock, and variants are available for platforms such as EAW base plates, Merkel mounts, Leupold Quick Release bases, and original Steyr mounts. The family also extends to interfaces for Picatinny, Zeiss, Swarovski, and Aimpoint Micro, as well as a shorter MAKflex Short version. In practice, that gives the series a broad role across hunting optics, from conventional riflescopes to compact sighting systems.

About the MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for Original Steyr, 34 mm

The MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for Original Steyr, 34 mm is designed for shooters who want to install a modern 34 mm riflescope on a rifle equipped with original Steyr pivot scope mounts. Its one-piece layout keeps the ring spacing fixed and the alignment consistent, which is especially useful when mounting larger hunting optics that benefit from stable support across the full tube length. Compared with separate ring assemblies, a one-piece bridge can make the setup feel more unified and easier to position correctly.

The 34 mm ring size makes this model well suited to current premium riflescopes, many of which use larger main tubes to provide increased adjustment travel and robust internal assemblies. For the shooter, that means the mount is ready for optics intended for demanding hunting or precision-oriented field use rather than only compact traditional scopes. The specified KR 0.0 mm extension keeps the optic in a neutral position, which is often preferred when the rifle and scope already match well in eye-relief placement.

Its aluminium construction helps keep overall rifle weight under control while still delivering the stiffness expected from a quality optic mount. Combined with German manufacture, this gives the mount a practical balance of low mass, precise fit, and dependable day-to-day handling. For a Steyr owner who wants a clean rifle-specific solution for a 34 mm scope, this MAKflex model focuses on compatibility, alignment, and straightforward integration.
