LunaVision External Infrared Illuminator 940 KIT (Laser)

1. Advanced Laser Emitter: The LunaVision 940 KIT utilizes a sophisticated laser emitter that provides a highly focused and intense infrared beam. This technology surpasses traditional LED illuminators in efficiency and throw, allowing for superior long-range illumination without significant power loss.

2. Invisible 940nm Wavelength: Operating at a 940nm wavelength, this illuminator produces infrared light that is virtually imperceptible to the naked eye and most animals. While digital NV devices can detect wavelengths up to 950nm and analog up to 850nm, the 940nm wavelength ensures optimal stealth for critical operations.

3. Digital NV Optimization: Specifically engineered to excel with digital night vision devices, the 940 KIT enhances their native capabilities, providing clear, bright images at extended ranges. Its high power output ensures that even under the darkest conditions, your digital device captures optimal detail.

4. Robust Construction: Crafted from high-quality, durable materials, the illuminator is built to withstand harsh environmental conditions and rigorous use. Its resilient design ensures reliable performance in diverse tactical, hunting, or surveillance scenarios.

ABOUT THE LUNAVISION EXTERNAL INFRARED ILLUMINATOR 940 KIT

LunaVision's 940 KIT stands out as an indispensable tool for serious night vision users, especially those prioritizing stealth and precision. Unlike standard LED illuminators, this model employs a high-power laser emitter operating at a precise 940nm wavelength. This makes the infrared light virtually invisible to the naked eye and most animals. Wild boar and deer, for instance, typically detect IR illuminators with wavelengths under 875nm if pointed directly at their eyes at moderate range (up to 50 meters), making the 940nm output an ideal choice for minimizing detection. Its 940nm output is optimally suited for digital night vision devices, allowing for extended detection and identification ranges without revealing your position. While digital NV devices can detect wavelengths up to 950nm, analog night vision devices typically detect infrared light up to 850nm. The laser technology provides a more focused and powerful beam compared to traditional LEDs, ensuring efficient illumination even at considerable distances. Constructed from durable materials, the 940 KIT is designed to withstand rigorous use, making it perfect for tactical operations, covert surveillance, and discreet hunting where minimizing light signature is paramount.
