Liemke Luchs-25.1

• Wide field of view: The 25 mm objective and 185.00 m/1000m field of view help the Liemke Luchs-25.1 cover ground quickly, which is especially useful when stalking or scanning woodland edges where game can appear suddenly.
• Clip-on 1x format: With 1.00 x optical magnification, this thermal clip-on preserves the familiar sight picture of the day scope behind it, making it practical for hunters who want thermal capability without changing their normal shooting setup.
• Balanced thermal image: The 384x288 VOx sensor, 12.00 μm pixel pitch and 40.00 mK NETD work together to show heat differences clearly, helping targets stand out better in damp weather, mixed backgrounds and low-contrast conditions.
• Recording and connectivity: Built-in photo and video capture, Wifi and video output make it easier to save observations, review shots and transfer footage to a mobile device without adding external accessories.
• Field-ready construction: A 10.00 h battery life, rechargeable power supply with USB-C port, and waterproof and fogproof housing support longer outings and more dependable use in changing weather.

About the Liemke Luchs Series

The Liemke Luchs series is LIEMKE’s family of pre-mounted thermal imaging devices built for hunting use, with models that can serve both as riflescope clip-ons and handheld units. Within the range, the series covers different hunting styles: some models are aimed at mixed terrain, others at longer distances, while the LUCHS-25.1 is positioned for stalking and hunting in forest and field. That gives the series a clear role in the LIEMKE lineup as a practical thermal option for hunters who need flexibility rather than a single fixed use.

LUCHS devices are developed and manufactured in Germany and share a common operating concept built around field use. The family offers Standard, Basic and Individual operating modes, allowing the user to keep operation simple or tailor the controls to personal preference. LIEMKE also equips the series with memory slots for three different optics, which is useful for hunters who move the device between setups. Across the range, the LUCHS family includes five color modes, Sun and Rain image modes for contrast balancing, plus Wi-Fi, USB-C and 32 GB of internal memory for recording and data transfer. The series is also designed for use from -20 °C to +50 °C, underlining its focus on real hunting conditions.

About the Liemke Luchs-25.1

The Liemke Luchs-25.1 is a 1x thermal clip-on intended for hunters who want a compact front attachment for stalking and for hunting in forest and field. Its role within the LUCHS range is clear: it combines a broad view of the surroundings with enough detection reach to stay useful beyond close woodland distances. The 25.00 mm objective and 185.00 m/1000m field of view make it easier to pick up movement quickly, track animals through broken cover and maintain awareness of the wider scene instead of looking through a narrow thermal window.

At the core of the device is a 384x288 VOx uncooled sensor with 12.00 μm pixel pitch, 40.00 mK NETD and a 50.00 Hz refresh rate. In practice, that combination supports a stable, readable image with enough sensitivity to separate animals from background clutter when temperature differences are small. The stated 1250.00 m detection range extends its usefulness for scanning open ground, while the OLED display with 1024×768 resolution provides a clear viewing image for observation and shot preparation. LIEMKE also lists 2x direct zoom for the LUCHS-25.1, giving the user a fast way to enlarge the image when more target detail is needed.

The housing remains practical for regular field use. At 156.00 mm long and 580.00 g, the unit stays compact enough for a clip-on format while still offering a 10.00 h battery life. Photo capture, video recording, video output and Wifi add useful documentation and sharing functions, and the waterproof, fogproof construction supports reliable use in cold mornings, wet vegetation and shifting weather.

About Liemke

LIEMKE has been active in thermal imaging since 2008 and focuses on thermal imaging optics for hunting and outdoor use. The company became part of the Blaser Group in 2020, reinforcing its position in the hunting optics segment. LIEMKE’s product range is organized around distinct thermal lines, including the KEILER handheld devices, the LUCHS pre-mounted thermal imaging devices and the MERLIN thermal line.

The company is also notable for developing its own optics since 2014, which is relevant in a category where image quality, mechanical consistency and practical field handling matter as much as raw sensor data. LIEMKE devices are designed around real hunting use, and the brand also supports image transfer to mobile devices through Wi-Fi or cable, reflecting its emphasis on modern thermal functionality rather than purely stand-alone viewing.
