Leupold DeltaPoint Pro 45 Degree Mount

• 45-degree offset layout: Positions a DeltaPoint Pro at an angled secondary sighting point, allowing faster transitions from a magnified optic to a close-range red dot without changing the main setup.
• Picatinny rail fit: Attaches directly to a Picatinny interface, making it a practical choice for rifles and chassis systems that already use this common mounting standard.
• Aluminium construction: Keeps the mount light while still providing the rigidity needed to support a red dot securely under regular field and range use.
• Made for DeltaPoint Pro: Built specifically for the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint, which helps maintain proper fit and alignment instead of relying on a more generic adapter solution.
• Low-bulk secondary aiming solution: Adds a backup or close-range sighting option without the size and weight penalty of a larger auxiliary optic system.

About the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Mounts Series

Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Mounts are the dedicated mounting solutions built around the company’s DeltaPoint Pro red-dot sight. In the 2026 catalog, Leupold groups these products as a complete family intended to place the sight on different firearms and mounting systems rather than forcing one mount to do every job. That approach makes the series relevant to shooters who use a DeltaPoint Pro on handguns, AR-style rifles, and Picatinny-equipped platforms.

The range includes dovetail mounts for specific pistol models, a cross-slot mount for Picatinny and Weaver-style rails, a DLOC mount for AR-style firearms, a Ringtop mount for compatible Mark 4 rings and Mark IMS systems, and a 45-degree mount for offset installation on a Picatinny rail. Across the series, the common idea is straightforward: give the DeltaPoint Pro a secure, application-specific interface so the sight can be used where it makes the most sense, whether that is as a primary handgun optic or as a fast secondary aiming system alongside magnified glass.

About the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro 45 Degree Mount

The Leupold DeltaPoint Pro 45 Degree Mount is designed for shooters who want a secondary red-dot sight alongside a magnified optic. By placing the DeltaPoint Pro at a 45-degree angle on a Picatinny rail, the mount allows a quick change from the main scope to an offset aiming point with a simple rotation of the rifle. In practice, that setup is useful when a rifle must cover both longer shots through magnification and fast, close-range engagements where a wide field of view and an uncluttered aiming point are more efficient.

This mount is purpose-built for the DeltaPoint Pro footprint, so it suits users who want a dedicated interface rather than a universal adapter. The angled format also helps preserve the main optic’s position and eye relief, because the red dot sits beside the primary sight line instead of replacing it. With its aluminium construction, the mount keeps added weight to a minimum at 100.00 g, which matters on rifles already carrying a scope, mount, and other accessories. The matte black finish keeps the appearance consistent with modern tactical optics and sporting rifle setups.

Because it mounts to a standard rail, this Leupold red dot mount is easy to integrate into a broad range of rifles and chassis systems that use the Picatinny standard. The result is a compact, practical solution for adding a fast offset sighting option without significantly increasing bulk.

About Leupold

Leupold & Volpel was founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1907 by Fred Leupold and Adam Volpel. The company later became Leupold & Stevens, Inc. and is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. It remains family-owned and focuses on sport optics for hunting, shooting, and outdoor use.

Leupold is especially well known for its riflescopes, including the VX-series for sporting use and the Mark-series for tactical applications, but its catalog also includes red dot sights, binoculars, spotting scopes, rangefinders, and thermal optics. The company introduced its first riflescope, the Plainsman, in 1947, and later introduced the Duplex reticle in 1962, a design that became widely recognized in sporting optics. That long focus on aiming systems and mounting solutions is directly relevant to products such as the DeltaPoint Pro mount range.
