Ledlenser K6R Safety Flashlight

• 400-lumen output: Delivers enough light to quickly check a path, doorway or vehicle interior, giving this compact flashlight practical usefulness beyond simple keychain backup duty.
• Integrated alarm function: Combines a bright light with a shrill emergency signal, adding a personal-safety feature that can attract attention or help deter a threat when immediate response matters.
• Foldout USB-A charging: Recharges directly without a separate cable, making it easier to top up from a laptop, power bank or USB port while traveling or commuting.
• Compact aluminum housing: Keeps the flashlight light enough for everyday carry while providing better durability than a plastic body for frequent pocket, bag or key-ring use.
• Transport lock and battery indicator: Helps prevent accidental activation in a pocket or handbag and gives a quick check of remaining charge before heading out.

About the Ledlenser K Series

The Ledlenser K Series is built around compact key-ring lighting, giving users a practical light source that is easy to carry every day rather than a larger torch that stays at home. Within Ledlenser’s lineup, the series focuses on portable everyday lighting for people who want quick access to illumination from a light that fits naturally on a key ring or in a handbag. That makes the range well suited to commuting, travel, outdoor activities and general emergency use.

Across the series, the design philosophy centers on keeping size down without turning the light into a disposable accessory. Models such as the K4R, K6R and K6R Safety bring rechargeable operation and useful output into a very small format, while individual versions add functions for different needs. The K6R Safety stands out in the family by adding an alarm signal, while the K6R variant is also known for a red-light mode. In practical terms, the K Series is aimed at users who want a light that is always close at hand, with enough output for routine tasks and enough portability to become part of daily carry.

About the Ledlenser K6R Safety Flashlight

The Ledlenser K6R Safety Flashlight takes the idea of a keychain light and adds a clear personal-safety role. Its up to 400-lumen output and 80.00 m beam distance give it enough reach and brightness for everyday tasks such as finding items in a bag, checking a dark parking area or lighting a short walking route. That makes it more useful than many ultra-compact lights that are only suitable for close-range backup use.

What defines this model is the combination of light and alarm. The integrated shrill alarm adds an emergency signaling function that can help draw attention in stressful situations, while the additional strobe mode supports the same role. This makes the K6R Safety especially relevant for everyday carry in urban settings, travel, evening walks and situations where a compact light may also need to serve as a quick-access safety accessory.

The flashlight’s foldout USB-A interface keeps charging simple because no separate cable is required, which is a real advantage for a light intended to stay in constant rotation on keys or in a pocket. Its aluminum alloy housing keeps weight to just 32.00 g, helping it remain unobtrusive in daily carry while still feeling more robust than a lightweight plastic alternative. A battery and charge level indicator, together with the transport lock, further supports practical day-to-day use by reducing accidental activation and making charge status easier to monitor.

About Ledlenser

Ledlenser was founded in 1993 by Rainer and Harald Opolka in Solingen, Germany, where the company is still headquartered. The brand entered the flashlight market in 2000 with an LED flashlight and has since focused on portable lighting products including flashlights, headlamps, work lights, lanterns and floodlights. This specialization has made Ledlenser particularly well known in categories where compact size, dependable output and practical beam control matter.

Among the company’s better-known technologies is the Advanced Focus System, which combines lenses and reflectors to shift a beam from broad illumination to a more focused pattern. Ledlenser also lists technologies such as Smart Light Technology, Flex Sealing Technology and magnetic charging across its range. In practical terms, the brand’s reputation is built on designing lights that are easy to carry, straightforward to operate and purpose-built for outdoor, work and everyday-use applications.
