HI VIZ LiteWave Rear Sight, Glock 10mm, .45 ACP, .45 GAP

• LiteWave fiber-optic system: The rear sight uses HIVIZ LitePipes to gather ambient light, giving the shooter a brighter rear reference in daylight and helping the notch stand out faster during target transitions.
• Interchangeable sight colors: Supplied for use with different LitePipe colors, the sight can be tuned to personal preference or lighting conditions, which helps maintain a clear sight picture across range and field use.
• All-steel construction: A steel body gives this Glock rear sight the durability needed for regular carry, training, and repeated slide manipulation while holding its shape better than softer materials.
• Fixed square-notch design: The fixed rear with a square notch supports a clean, repeatable alignment, making it well suited to defensive practice, general range shooting, and straightforward everyday use.
• Holster-friendly profile: The LITEWAVE exoskeleton design protects the fiber elements while keeping the sight practical for holster use, so brightness does not come at the cost of snag-free handling.

About the Hi Viz LITEWAVE Series

HIVIZ introduced the LITEWAVE series in November 2014 as a fiber-optic sight family built for shooters who want a brighter sight picture without moving to electronic optics. The series is designed to be holster-friendly and suitable for range or field use, which makes it relevant across competition, recreational shooting, training, hunting, and general daytime or low-light work. Rather than relying on a plain exposed fiber rod, LITEWAVE sights use a distinctive diagonal-wave exoskeleton that leaves more of the LitePipe exposed to ambient light while still protecting it from impact.

A defining feature of the series is the interchangeable LitePipe system. Shooters can change sight color to suit personal preference or lighting conditions, which is especially useful when moving between bright outdoor ranges, shaded bays, and field environments. The LITEWAVE line spans both handgun and rifle applications, with front and rear configurations available, but the common design philosophy stays the same: durable metal construction, strong visibility, and practical handling. In use, LITEWAVE sights are meant to deliver a fast, uncluttered sight picture while keeping the ruggedness expected from hard-use iron sights.

About the HI VIZ LiteWave Rear Sight, Glock 10mm, .45 ACP, .45 GAP

The HI VIZ LiteWave Rear Sight for Glock .45 ACP, .45 GAP, and 10mm is a dedicated rear handgun sight for shooters who want a brighter iron-sight setup on larger-frame Glock pistols. It fits Glock models chambered in .45 ACP, .45 GAP, and 10mm and is designed to pair with the HIVIZ Glock LiteWave front sight, SKU GL2014. That combination gives the pistol a coordinated fiber-optic sight picture that is easier to pick up quickly than a plain black rear in bright conditions.

This model uses a 0.140 wide blade notch and a 6.9mm sight height, dimensions chosen to provide a clear rear window around the front sight while maintaining the correct height relationship for the intended Glock platforms. In practical use, that means faster visual centering of the front blade and a cleaner view during controlled pairs, drills, or general target work. The square rear notch supports precise horizontal alignment, while the fixed design keeps the setup simple and robust for shooters who do not need adjustable target-style hardware.

The sight body is made with all-steel construction, which matters on a carry or training pistol because the rear sight must tolerate repeated handling, holster wear, and slide movement without becoming fragile. HIVIZ also builds this model around its interchangeable LitePipe system, with green and red LitePipe options, so the rear sight picture can be tuned for contrast and visibility. For shooters who prefer durable iron sights but want more speed and brightness in daylight, this rear sight offers a practical upgrade path.

About HiViz

HIVIZ began in 1996 with a single shooting-related product and grew into a specialist brand focused on highly visible firearm sights and related accessories. The company is based in Laramie, Wyoming, United States, and its product range covers handguns, shotguns, and rifles. Across those categories, HIVIZ is known for fiber-optic and tritium sight systems designed to improve sight acquisition without adding unnecessary complexity.

A key part of the brand’s identity is its work with removable and reusable LitePipes, which allow shooters to change sight colors instead of being locked into one configuration. HIVIZ has also developed sight families such as LITEWAVE, TriViz, and CompSight, reflecting a long focus on practical visibility for different shooting disciplines. In this category, the company’s reputation rests on making robust replacement sights that are easy to understand in use: brighter aiming references, durable metal construction, and application-specific fit for common firearm platforms.
