Hi Viz LiteWave Interchangeable Front Sight, CZ 75, 83, 85, 97, P-01

• Interchangeable LitePipes: The front sight accepts green, red, and white LitePipes, so the sight picture can be tuned for different backgrounds, lighting conditions, or shooter preference without replacing the whole sight.
• LiteWave exoskeleton design: The diagonal-wave steel housing exposes more of the fiber to ambient light while shielding it from impact, giving a brighter aiming reference with the durability needed for regular carry or range use.
• Factory-height front sight: Built to work with the factory rear sight, this setup keeps installation straightforward and preserves a familiar point of aim for shooters upgrading from a standard front blade.
• All-steel construction: A steel sight body stands up better to holster wear, recoil, and routine handling than softer materials, making it a sensible choice for a working pistol.
• Fixed fiber-optic front: The bright front dot naturally draws the eye during presentation, helping speed up front-sight acquisition for practice, competition, and general daytime shooting.

About the Hi Viz LITEWAVE Series

Hi Viz LITEWAVE sights were introduced in November 2014 as a fiber-optic sight family built around visibility, durability, and user-configurable sight pictures. A defining feature of the series is its diagonal-wave exoskeleton, which leaves more of the LitePipe exposed to ambient light while still protecting it inside a rigid sight body. In practical terms, that means a brighter front or rear reference in daylight and transitional light, without giving up the robustness needed for holster use and regular range work.

Another key part of the series is the use of interchangeable LitePipes. Instead of being locked into one color, shooters can swap pipes to suit the target, background, or personal preference. Across the LITEWAVE line, HIVIZ positions these sights for competition, recreation, training, hunting, and general field use. The range includes handgun and rifle variants, with both front and rear configurations available, but the common idea stays the same: a highly visible fiber-optic sight picture in a design that remains practical for everyday handling rather than being limited to bench or match use.

About the Hi Viz LiteWave Interchangeable Front Sight, CZ 75, 83, 85, 97, P-01

This Hi Viz LiteWave Interchangeable Front Sight is a dedicated fiber-optic front sight for CZ 75, 83, 85, 97, and P-01 pistols. Its role is simple but important: it gives the shooter a brighter, easier-to-pick-up front reference than a plain black blade, which can make a noticeable difference in fast sight alignment on the range or during practical handgun use. Because the sight is built at factory height and intended to work with the factory rear sight, it suits shooters who want a more visible front sight without changing the overall sighting geometry of the pistol.

The model uses HIVIZ’s LiteWave housing and interchangeable LitePipes, combining brightness with flexibility. The diagonal protective structure helps the fiber gather light from multiple angles, while the interchangeable pipe system lets the shooter choose green, red, or white to match lighting conditions or visual preference. That matters in practice because a color that stands out sharply on an indoor range may not be the best choice against bright outdoor backgrounds.

Its all-steel construction supports long-term durability on a carry or training pistol, and the fixed, non-illuminated design keeps the sight uncomplicated and maintenance-light. This is a front-sight upgrade aimed at shooters who want faster front-sight focus, a clearer daytime aiming point, and the ability to tailor the sight picture without moving to a bulkier electronic sighting system.

About HiViz

HiViz began in 1996 with a single shooting-related product and grew into a specialist maker of sights and accessories for handguns, shotguns, and rifles. The company is based in Laramie, Wyoming, United States, and is particularly known for highly visible sighting systems built around fiber-optic and tritium technologies. Its product range includes fiber-optic sights, tritium sight options, recoil pads, and related shooting accessories.

A core part of the brand’s identity is the LitePipe system, which uses removable and reusable fiber-optic elements to let shooters maintain or change their sight picture without replacing the entire sight. HiViz has also developed sight families such as LiteWave, with its exoskeleton and integral LitePipe locking design, alongside other lines including TriViz and CompSight. That focus on practical visibility and adaptable sight pictures has made the company a well-known name in firearm sight upgrades.
