ERA-TAC Ultralight Cantilever One-Piece Mount for Picatinny, 34 mm

• Ultralight one-piece design: The mount keeps weight down to 148 g, helping preserve rifle balance and making it easier to build a capable hunting or tactical setup without unnecessary bulk.
• 56.0 mm cantilever extension: The forward offset creates more flexibility for eye-relief positioning, which is especially useful on rifles with limited rail space or when fitting modern scopes on Picatinny-equipped platforms.
• 34 mm scope interface: The larger ring diameter supports modern high-performance optics, giving a secure platform for scopes with larger main tubes often chosen for extended adjustment range and robust construction.
• Solid aluminium construction: Machined aluminium combines low mass with the rigidity needed for repeatable scope alignment, so the mount stays practical for field use while remaining mechanically stable.
• Picatinny-compatible clamping system: The mount attaches directly to a Picatinny rail, giving a straightforward and secure installation standard used across precision, sporting, and tactical rifles.

About the ERA-TAC One-Piece Mounts Series

ERA-TAC One-Piece Mounts sit within the brand’s tactical-mount range and are built for shooters who want a rigid, simplified interface between rifle and optic. The series is offered in short and extended versions, allowing the same basic mounting concept to serve everything from bolt-action rifles to AR-pattern platforms with different eye-relief and rail-space requirements. In the extended versions, ERA-TAC offers 2-inch and 3-inch extensions, while shorter configurations are better suited to more conventional receiver layouts.

A defining feature of the series is its 25 mm-wide rings with the UNIVERSAL-Interface, which reflect the line’s practical, accessory-ready design philosophy. Depending on the model, the mounts are available with either a safety-lever or hexagonal-nut clamping system, so users can choose the attachment style that best matches their application. Across the range, the mounts are made from solid high-grade aluminum and finished in a matte-black hard-anodized coating to Mil-Spec Type III, emphasizing low weight, corrosion resistance, and durability for demanding field and range use.

About the ERA-TAC Ultralight Cantilever One-Piece Mount for Picatinny, 34 mm

The ERA-TAC Ultralight Cantilever One-Piece Mount for Picatinny, 34 mm is built for shooters who need a forward-offset mounting solution without adding unnecessary mass to the rifle. Its KR 56.0 mm extension moves the scope farther ahead, which helps achieve proper eye relief on rifles where receiver length or shooting position makes standard mounts less practical. That matters particularly on AR-style rifles and other Picatinny-equipped platforms where optic placement often needs more adjustment room.

The 34 mm ring size makes this model suitable for larger modern riflescopes, including optics designed with broader internal adjustment ranges and more robust main tubes. By using a one-piece layout, the mount keeps both rings aligned in a single structure, which simplifies installation and provides a stable base for precision-oriented optics. The aluminium construction supports that stability while keeping total weight to 148 g, so the rifle remains easier to carry and quicker to handle than it would with a heavier steel mount.

As part of ERA-TAC’s ultralight concept, this mount focuses on practical strength rather than added complexity. It attaches directly to a Picatinny rail, making it a natural fit for a wide range of sporting, tactical, and precision rifles already configured around that interface. The result is a scope mount that prioritizes correct optic position, low weight, and a clean, rigid installation for serious field use.

About ERA-TAC

ERA-TAC is a brand of Recknagel GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bergrheinfeld, Germany. Recknagel was founded in 1867 in Albrechts near Suhl, Thuringia, and built its reputation around accessories for hunting, sport, and tactical firearms. The ERATAC line was introduced in 2010 to address civilian and military demand for modern tactical mounts and related accessories.

The brand’s range includes tactical riflescope mounts, Picatinny rails, backup sights, and weapon accessories, with a strong emphasis on precise machining and durable finishes. ERATAC mounts are machined from solid aluminum and hard-anodized to Mil-Spec Type III, reflecting the company’s focus on robust, field-ready mounting systems. In 2022, Dr. Moritz Fehrer acquired Recknagel, continuing the long-established German manufacturing tradition behind the brand.
