Element Optics Immersive 14x50 Product description

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Fixed 14x Prismatic Optical System: The high magnification provides detailed target observation in a compact housing, making the riflescope particularly suitable for precision-oriented shooting with zero-recoil rifles.
  • Exceptionally Wide Field of View: The specialized short-eye-relief optical system provides a field of view of 9.6 metres at 100 metres, allowing shooters to observe a larger area than with many conventional riflescopes at comparable magnification.
  • Extra-Low Dispersion Glass: The ED glass optical system reduces chromatic aberration and improves image sharpness, helping shooters distinguish fine target details and maintain good contrast.
  • Illuminated APR-1C Reticles: Available with APR-1C MRAD or APR-1C MOA reticles, featuring push-button illumination and angular reference markings for precise aiming corrections and holdovers.
  • Adjustable Mounting and Side Parallax: The tilt-adjustable Unimount includes three mounting base lengths, while the side parallax adjustment from 6 metres to infinity provides precise focusing at different shooting distances.

ABOUT THE ELEMENT OPTICS IMMERSIVE SERIES

The Element Optics Immersive series consists of compact prismatic riflescopes developed for shooters who require detailed optical performance, a wide field of view, and practical mechanical features in a short housing. The series uses a prism-based optical system that differs from the construction of conventional riflescopes.

A defining characteristic of the Immersive family is its wide-field optical design. While traditional riflescopes often present the observed image as a relatively small circular picture, the Immersive optical system creates a more expansive viewing experience. This allows shooters to maintain greater awareness of the surrounding environment while benefiting from optical magnification.

The series incorporates extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, which helps reduce chromatic aberration and preserve image sharpness. By minimizing unwanted colour fringing around high-contrast objects, the optical system supports clear observation of targets and surrounding details.

Different models within the Immersive series offer fixed magnification configurations, allowing shooters to choose an optic suited to their intended shooting distances and applications. Depending on the model, the series provides different reticle designs, eye relief configurations, and mounting arrangements.

Immersive riflescopes also incorporate illuminated reticles, adjustable parallax systems, and resettable turrets. Selected models are supplied with tilt-adjustable mounting systems that provide flexibility when positioning the optic on compatible firearms.

The Immersive series includes configurations designed specifically for zero-recoil shooting platforms. These models use short eye relief to achieve an exceptionally wide field of view and must be used only with firearms that meet the manufacturer's compatibility requirements.

ABOUT THE ELEMENT OPTICS IMMERSIVE 14X50

The Element Optics Immersive 14x50 is an ultra-compact prismatic riflescope designed for precision-oriented shooting applications where high magnification, a wide field of view, and detailed optical performance are important. Its fixed 14x magnification and 50 mm objective lens make it particularly suitable for target shooting with zero-recoiling rifles.

Unlike conventional riflescopes, the Immersive 14x50 incorporates a prism-based optical system that provides a distinctive viewing experience. Its optical design creates the impression of a more expansive image, allowing the shooter to observe a larger portion of the surrounding environment. This is particularly beneficial when locating targets and maintaining visual awareness during precision shooting.

One of the model's most distinctive characteristics is its field of view of 9.6 metres at 100 metres. This is unusually wide for an optic with 14x magnification and is achieved through the specialized short-eye-relief optical design. The wider viewing area allows shooters to observe targets and surrounding details without the restricted visual impression associated with many conventional high-magnification riflescopes.

The fixed 14x magnification provides a consistent level of image enlargement without requiring adjustment of a magnification ring. This configuration is particularly useful for shooting disciplines where targets are positioned at relatively predictable distances and where detailed observation is more important than magnification versatility.

The optical system incorporates extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, which reduces chromatic aberration and helps maintain image sharpness. By minimizing unwanted colour fringing around high-contrast objects, ED glass supports better visibility of small target details. The 50 mm objective lens works together with the prismatic optical system to provide a detailed sight picture while maintaining the compact dimensions of the riflescope.

A particularly important consideration is the 18 mm eye relief. This short eye relief is a fundamental part of the Immersive optical design and contributes to its wide field of view. However, it also places strict limitations on firearm compatibility. Element Optics specifies that the Immersive 14x50 is intended for zero-recoiling rifles only. It must not be used on firearms that generate significant recoil, as the short distance between the eyepiece and the shooter's eye creates a risk of injury.

The riflescope is available with two illuminated reticle configurations: APR-1C MRAD and APR-1C MOA. Both reticles incorporate angular measurement references that allow shooters to estimate corrections, compensate for projectile drop, and apply precise holdovers. The MRAD version uses milliradian measurements, while the MOA configuration provides corresponding references in minutes of angle.

Reticle illumination is operated through a push-button control system, allowing the illuminated aiming reference to be adjusted according to ambient lighting conditions. This helps improve reticle visibility when additional contrast is required, while the underlying reticle markings remain available for precise aiming.

The Immersive 14x50 features an exposed elevation turret and a capped windage turret. The exposed elevation turret allows convenient access to vertical corrections, while the protective windage cap reduces the risk of accidental horizontal adjustment. Both turrets are resettable, allowing the shooter to reposition their reference scales after zeroing.

The adjustment specifications depend on the selected reticle configuration. The APR-1C MRAD version provides 0.1 MRAD clicks with 6 MRAD per turret revolution, while the APR-1C MOA version provides 1/4 MOA clicks with 15 MOA per revolution. These clearly defined adjustment increments allow shooters to apply controlled corrections when establishing or modifying their zero.

The riflescope provides a total elevation adjustment range of 28 MRAD or 83 MOA, depending on the selected version. The windage adjustment range is identical, offering the same amount of available correction in the horizontal direction.

A practical feature is the side parallax adjustment, which operates from approximately 6 metres to infinity. This allows the optical system to be focused for different target distances while reducing potential parallax error. The short minimum adjustment distance is particularly useful when shooting at close-range targets, where a conventional fixed-parallax riflescope may not provide the same level of focusing flexibility.

The Immersive 14x50 is supplied with a tilt-adjustable Unimount featuring three different mounting base lengths. This allows the shooter to position the riflescope according to the available mounting space and preferred shooting position. The adjustable mount also provides flexibility for adapting the optical system to specific shooting requirements.

The riflescope features waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction, with a nitrogen-purged housing designed to reduce internal condensation during temperature changes. These protective characteristics support dependable outdoor use within the manufacturer's specified firearm compatibility limitations.

Despite its 14x magnification and 50 mm objective lens, the Immersive 14x50 measures only 154 mm in length. Its weight of 554 grams with the mount installed makes it a compact alternative to many conventional high-magnification riflescopes.

The riflescope is also supplied with a magnetic flip-up lens cap and rubber eyecup. The lens cap protects the objective lens during transportation and storage, while the rubber eyecup provides a comfortable contact surface when using the short-eye-relief optical system.

With its combination of 14x magnification, ED glass, an exceptionally wide field of view, illuminated APR-1C reticles, and an adjustable mounting system, the Element Optics Immersive 14x50 provides a specialized optical solution for precision shooting applications using zero-recoil rifles.
