Crimson Trace LG-207 Lasergrips Product description

  • Instinctive Activation: The front activation button turns the laser on as the revolver is gripped normally, so the sight is ready without adding a separate step during presentation.
  • Grip Replacement Design: The Lasergrips format integrates the aiming laser into the grip itself, preserving a clean revolver profile while adding an aiming reference without bulky rail-mounted hardware.
  • User Windage and Elevation Adjustment: Adjustable alignment lets the laser be matched to the revolver and ammunition setup, helping maintain practical point-of-aim consistency at defensive or field distances.
  • 5mW Class 3R Red Laser: The red laser provides a clear aiming point for fast target indexing, especially in low light or from unconventional shooting positions where iron-sight alignment is slower.
  • Hard Polymer Construction: The polymer housing gives the grip the durability needed for regular carry and range use while maintaining secure handling on large-frame revolvers.

About the Lasergrips Series

Crimson Trace Lasergrips are built for shooters who want a laser sight integrated directly into the firearm’s grip rather than added as an external accessory. Within the company’s laser-sight lineup, the series is known for combining a factory-style fit with Instinctive Activation, a system that places the activation control where it can be engaged through a normal firing grip. That approach keeps operation simple and fast, which is why Lasergrips are widely used on defensive handguns, carry pistols and revolvers intended for practical field use.

The series focuses on maintaining the handling characteristics of the host firearm while adding a visible aiming reference. Depending on the model, Lasergrips are offered for a wide range of handgun platforms and are shaped to match the frame rather than hang below it. The design philosophy is straightforward: minimal added bulk, repeatable activation, and an aiming aid that works when sight alignment is difficult. In practical use, that makes the series especially relevant for close-range defensive shooting, low-light conditions, and positions where a traditional sight picture is slower to acquire.

About the Crimson Trace LG-207 Lasergrips

The Crimson Trace LG-207 Lasergrips are designed specifically for Smith & Wesson K, L and N-Frame revolvers, giving these large-frame wheelguns an integrated red laser without changing their basic handling. Because the unit replaces the grip rather than attaching to a rail, it keeps the revolver streamlined and well balanced, which matters on holstered sidearms and on revolvers carried for defense, trail use or general field work.

The defining feature is front Instinctive Activation. As the revolver is brought into a normal firing grip, the laser can be engaged naturally, allowing faster target indexing without shifting hand position to find a separate switch. That is particularly useful when shooting from retention, around cover, or in low light where iron sights are harder to pick up quickly. The 5mW, 633 nm Class 3R red laser projects a visible aiming point, and the unit is factory sighted at 50 feet while still allowing user adjustment for windage and elevation. This gives the shooter the flexibility to fine-tune the point of impact to the revolver and chosen load.

The LG-207 also uses a hard polymer grip construction that provides secure handling and stands up well to regular use on heavier revolver platforms. Its integrated on/off switch adds control for storage or transport, while the grip-based format avoids the extra width and snag points often associated with external handgun laser units.

About Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace was established in 1994 and built its reputation around firearm laser sights and firearm-mounted lights. The company’s product range includes dedicated laser-sight families such as Lasergrips, Laserguard and Rail Master, alongside riflescopes and rangefinders. A defining part of the brand’s identity is Instinctive Activation, which uses pressure pads positioned so the aiming device can be engaged with a normal shooting grip rather than a separate, slower movement. Crimson Trace operates a facility in Columbia, Missouri, United States, and its catalog reflects a strong focus on practical aiming and illumination tools for handguns and long guns.
