Feature Highlights

• Pure Carbon Fibre Construction: Carbon offers excellent resilience to twist and torsion forces, keeping the stock stable and consistent in the field.
• Ergonomic Thumbhole Grip: The pistol grip features a large palm swell and is tilted 3° outwards, giving a relaxed, natural trigger hand position for extended use.
• Angled Butt End for a Relaxed Cheek Rest: The butt end of the stock is tilted 2° outward, supporting a relaxed shooting position and an improved cheek rest against the comb.
• Optional Added Grip Texture and Camo Finish: The stock can be ordered with an added textured grip surface and in a choice of camo finishes, allowing it to be tailored to the shooter's preferred feel and concealment needs.

About the Stock for Blaser R8 Series

The Stock for Blaser R8 series is Carbonomix's core hunting stock line for the Blaser R8 platform, positioned alongside the manufacturer's more technical Hunttech line. Where Hunttech is built around configurable bipod and Arca-Swiss compatibility for supported long-range shooting, the Stock for Blaser R8 series is aimed at hunters who prioritize fast, natural handling for driven hunts and stalking, where a lightweight, straightforward gunstock matters more than extensive tactical configuration.

The series is offered in three construction variants: Carbon, Hybrid (a carbon and kevlar composite), and Adjustable, the latter adding an integrated, tool-free adjustable cheek raiser. Each construction variant is available in a standard straight-stock Professional configuration, suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters, and in a Professional Success configuration featuring a thumbhole grip with an ergonomically angled palm swell, built specifically for right-handed shooters.

Across the series, stocks share a maximally lifted recoil pad to reduce muzzle flip, and are built to accept optional bipod adapters for occasional supported use. All models in the series are supplied without the rifle's trigger and action system, which is transferred from the customer's existing rifle.

About the Model (Carbon stock for Blaser R8 Professional Success)

The Carbon stock for Blaser R8 Professional Success is a carbon fibre gunstock built to accept the Blaser R8 Professional Success action and trigger system, in the series' ergonomic thumbhole Professional Success configuration. The carbon fibre construction offers excellent resilience to twist and torsion forces, contributing to a stable, consistent platform in the field.

The pistol grip features a large palm swell and is tilted 3° outwards, giving a relaxed trigger hand position, while the butt end of the stock is tilted 2° outward for a relaxed shooting position and an improved cheek rest. This ergonomic shaping is built specifically for right-handed shooters. The recoil pad is maximally lifted to help reduce muzzle flip on firing.

The stock is finished at a standard length of pull of 37 cm; a custom length of pull of up to 40 cm can be arranged directly with Carbonomix on request. At the time of ordering, it can be configured with a 17 mm Standard or 19 mm Semi-weight barrel contour channel, and optionally with a Spartan classic gunsmith bipod adapter or a 3-slot Picatinny rail. A camo paint finish is also available, in a choice of Alpine or Forest patterns, and an added grip texture can be selected for enhanced grip on the handle.

The stock weighs approximately 450–480 g without the action. As with all Carbonomix stocks, it is sold without the Blaser R8 trigger and action system, which the customer transfers from their existing rifle.

About Carbonomix

Carbonomix is a Slovenian manufacturer of carbon fibre gunstocks based in Mojstrana, in the Julian Alps, an area closely tied to alpine hunting traditions. The company's first gunstock was developed specifically with mountain hunting in mind, where low weight, a rigid structure, and precise ergonomics are essential, and this focus continues to shape its current stock range for the Blaser R8 and Blaser R93 platforms.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience working with carbon fibre and composite finishing compounds, Carbonomix produces stocks intended to perform equally well on driven hunts, in the mountains, and on the shooting range. The company also states a commitment to supporting nature conservation initiatives connected to the alpine environments in which its products are used and tested.
