Caldwell AR500 Crow Target

• AR500 steel construction: The steel target is built for repeated use, giving shooters a durable practice option that stands up to regular range sessions better than disposable paper targets.
• Crow silhouette shape: The bird-shaped profile adds variety to practice, helping make target sessions more engaging while offering a smaller, more irregular aiming point than a simple round plate.
• High-visibility finish: The contrasting finish is easier to pick up downrange, which helps with faster target acquisition and clearer feedback between strings of fire.
• Target-post compatibility: The center slot design works with the Caldwell AR500 Target Post system, making setup straightforward and allowing the target to be integrated into a modular steel-target arrangement.
• Range-focused steel target design: As a dedicated Caldwell target accessory, it suits practice, recreational shooting, and informal competition where audible and visual hit feedback matter.

About the Caldwell Accessories Series

Caldwell Accessories covers a broad selection of shooting gear built around practical range use and firearms handling. Within the wider Caldwell lineup, the series sits as a utility-focused family that supports training, transport, target work, and day-to-day shooting tasks rather than concentrating on a single firearm platform. That broad scope is what defines the series: products are designed to solve common range problems with straightforward, durable construction and simple setup.

Across the brand, Caldwell is known for products such as steel targets, target-launching equipment, shooting rests, and magazine-loading tools, so the accessories range naturally serves shooters who want dependable equipment for regular practice. In use, the series tends to emphasize robust materials, uncomplicated mounting or handling, and designs that fit real range routines instead of adding unnecessary complexity. For target-related products in particular, that means equipment intended to be easy to see, easy to mount, and durable enough for repeated sessions. The result is a series aimed at recreational shooters, training use, and organized practice where reliability and convenience matter more than ornament.

About the Caldwell AR500 Crow Target

The Caldwell AR500 Crow Target is a steel target made for shooters who want a more interesting aiming point than a standard plate while keeping the durability benefits of AR500 construction. Its crow silhouette introduces a smaller and less predictable target shape, which is useful for sharpening hold control, improving shot placement, and adding variety to practice sessions. That makes it well suited to general range use, informal competitions, and recreational shooting where reactive feedback is part of the appeal.

The target is made from steel, a practical choice for repeated use over many sessions. Compared with consumable targets, a steel silhouette keeps setup simple and gives immediate feedback when hit, helping shooters maintain rhythm during drills. The target’s black finish gives it a clean, purpose-built appearance and works as a durable exterior treatment for range use.

As a target accessory intended for the Caldwell ecosystem, this model is designed to work within a steel-target setup rather than as a standalone novelty item. That matters in practice because a compatible mounting format makes it easier to build a repeatable training layout and swap silhouettes to change difficulty. For shooters who want a compact animal-profile target that encourages more deliberate aiming, the AR500 Crow Target offers a durable and straightforward solution within Caldwell’s steel-target range.
