Blaser Infinity 4-20x58 Product description

  • 58 mm objective for low-light hunting: the large front lens gathers more light than a typical 56 mm class scope, helping preserve image brightness and detail when waiting on a hide at dusk or in the last legal shooting light.
  • 4-20x magnification range: low-end magnification remains practical for closer shots, while 20x gives the precision needed for careful shot placement and target identification at longer distances.
  • First focal plane illuminated reticle: the reticle scales with magnification, so holdover references stay consistent across the zoom range, while the red illumination improves visibility against dark game or shaded backgrounds.
  • BDC turret with Zero Stop: the ballistic turret supports fast elevation correction for changing distances, and the zero stop makes it simple to return to the base setting without hesitation in the field.
  • 34 mm tube with side parallax adjustment: the larger tube provides generous adjustment travel, while parallax correction from 50 m to infinity helps maintain a sharper, more precise sight picture at varied hunting distances.

About the Blaser Infinity Series

The Blaser Infinity series was introduced in 2018 as part of Blaser’s premium hunting optics range, aimed at hunters who want one riflescope family tailored to distinct field roles rather than a one-size-fits-all design. The line originally included 1-7x28, 2.8-20x50 and 4-20x58 configurations, covering driven hunting, mountain and stalking use, and low-light hide hunting.

A defining feature of the series is its use of first focal plane reticles together with phase grating technology, a design Blaser uses to keep reticle bars fine at higher magnification. In practice, that gives the shooter the scaling advantages of an FFP reticle without an overly heavy sight picture when zoomed in for precise aiming. Across the series, the design philosophy is clearly hunting-focused: broad zoom ranges, practical illumination, and configurations matched to real shooting situations rather than purely tactical use. Within Blaser’s optics lineup, the Infinity family stands as a top-tier option for hunters who need dependable optical performance, straightforward handling, and model-specific strengths for fast shooting, all-round use, or the last light of the day.

About the Blaser Infinity 4-20x58

The Blaser Infinity 4-20x58 is the low-light specialist of the series, built for hide hunting, twilight use, and deliberate shots at extended distances. Its 4-20x magnification range gives it a wide working envelope: 4x remains manageable when game appears closer than expected, while 20x helps with precise shot placement and confident game assessment when distance increases. The 58 mm objective lens, 90% light transmission, and fully multicoated optics are all directed toward one practical goal: preserving contrast and usable detail when light is fading and smaller visual cues become harder to read.

The first focal plane reticle is a strong fit for a scope intended for varied distances because subtensions remain true throughout the zoom range. That matters when magnification changes in the field and the shooter still wants consistent hold references. Red illumination that is usable in daylight also helps the aiming point stand out against dark backgrounds without overwhelming the target image. Mechanically, the scope is set up for serious distance work with a BDC turret, Zero Stop, and 0.10 MIL clicks, allowing repeatable elevation corrections and a quick return to the base zero.

The side-focus parallax adjustment from 50 m to infinity supports sharper target definition at longer ranges, while the 34 mm tube provides solid adjustment range with 15.00 mrad elevation and 10.00 mrad windage. A Zeiss ZM/VM rail is integrated for secure mounting, and the waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction suits a hunting riflescope expected to work reliably through changing weather and demanding field conditions.

About Blaser

Blaser was founded by Horst Blaser in Isny, Germany, in 1957. The company built its reputation in hunting firearms and today produces hunting rifles, combination guns, shotguns, and hunting accessories. Within that broader hunting focus, Blaser sport optics includes riflescopes and binoculars designed to complement the brand’s rifle systems and field use.

Blaser is also known for the Original Blaser Saddle Mount, developed for quick, tool-free removal and replacement of a riflescope while maintaining a practical hunting setup. In 2000, Michael Lüke and Thomas Ortmeier acquired Blaser together with the MAUSER and J.P. SAUER & SOHN brands. Today, Blaser Group is headquartered in Isny im Allgäu, Germany, and Blaser remains closely associated with premium hunting equipment built around mechanical precision, field handling, and an integrated approach to rifle and optics design.
