ABOUT THE COA SERIES

The Aimpoint COA series represents a new generation of ultra-low-profile enclosed pistol optics developed specifically for modern optics-ready handguns. Unlike traditional adapter-plate solutions, the COA was designed together with the A-CUT mounting interface to create an integrated mounting system focused on durability, compactness, and shooting performance.

The enclosed emitter construction protects the optic from environmental contamination while maintaining a slim profile suitable for concealed carry. The combination of a lightweight design, wide field of view, and low mounting height enables faster target acquisition and more natural pistol presentation.

Originally introduced together with Glock A-CUT pistols, the COA platform was designed for military, law enforcement, personal defense, and competition shooters who require a highly durable enclosed optic without excessive bulk.

ABOUT THE MODEL (AIMPOINT COA)

The Aimpoint COA is a 3.5 MOA enclosed reflex sight designed specifically for pistols. Its ultra-compact housing minimizes visual obstruction while maintaining a durable fully enclosed construction that protects the emitter from external elements.

The optic features a 15 × 15 mm clear aperture combined with a narrow frame design, providing excellent situational awareness and rapid target transitions. The low-profile A-CUT mounting interface positions the optic deeper into the slide compared to conventional plate-mounted systems, reducing overall sight height and improving shooting ergonomics.

The COA offers 12 brightness settings — 4 for night vision devices and 8 for daylight use — including one extra-bright mode for extremely bright environments such as snow or desert conditions. The sight also incorporates an automatic brightness step-down function that helps preserve battery life during extended inactivity.

Built from 7075-T6 high-strength aluminum, the COA is engineered to withstand extensive recoil forces, harsh duty conditions, and demanding everyday carry use. The optic is submersible to 25 meters and extensively tested for shock, vibration, and environmental resistance.
