US Optics BFX-10 10x40

• Fixed 10x configuration: A constant 10x magnification keeps the sight picture consistent, which helps with holdovers, target identification, and repeatable shot placement at medium to long distances.
• First focal plane illuminated reticle: The FFP reticle stays proportional through the image, so subtensions remain useful for ranging and holds, while illumination improves reticle visibility against dark targets or in poor light.
• Locking tactical turrets: Lockable double-turn turrets reduce the chance of accidental movement during transport or field use, while still giving the shooter fast access to large elevation travel for dialing.
• Side focus parallax adjustment: Adjustable parallax from 27.4 m to infinity helps sharpen the image and reduce aiming error at varying distances, which is especially useful on a fixed-power precision optic.
• 34 mm tube and rugged construction: The 34 mm main tube, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof build support dependable use on hard-running rifles and in changing weather conditions.

About the US Optics B Series

The US Optics B Series was built as a practical tactical riflescope family for shooters who wanted proven magnification ranges and a more field-oriented control layout. The series includes the B-10, B-17, and B-25 models, covering fixed and variable-power roles for precision shooting, duty use, and hunting applications where reliable adjustments matter as much as optical clarity. A defining part of the series is its emphasis on turret function: locking elevation and windage knobs, the EK2 stop, a revolution counter, and tool-free elevation zeroing all support fast correction without making the scope cumbersome to manage.

Single-button illumination integrated into the parallax knob keeps the controls compact and easy to reach from the shooting position, which suits rifles that are used from prone, barricades, or improvised rests. U.S. Optics also offered the B-Series with either 1/10 mil or 1/4 IPHY adjustment systems, reflecting its focus on shooters who want a scope matched to their preferred correction method. In the U.S. Optics lineup, the B Series sat as a serious tactical and precision-oriented family with mechanical features normally associated with more specialized long-range optics.

About the US Optics BFX-10 10x40

The US Optics BFX-10 10x40 is a fixed-power tactical riflescope built for shooters who prefer the simplicity and consistency of a 10x optic. A fixed magnification scope removes the need to manage zoom under pressure, so the reticle view, eye position, and target scale remain familiar from shot to shot. That makes this model well suited to precision rifles, designated marksman setups, and range work where repeatability is more important than variable magnification flexibility.

The scope uses a first focal plane illuminated reticle, which is especially useful on a precision-oriented optic because the reticle’s subtensions stay correct in relation to the target image. In practice, that means holds and ranging references remain intuitive. The illuminated reticle adds visibility when the target is dark, the background is cluttered, or ambient light is fading. A side-focus parallax adjustment from 27.4 m to infinity helps keep the image crisp and reduces apparent reticle shift at different distances.

Mechanically, the BFX-10 is configured for dialing. Its lockable tactical turrets use a double-turn layout with 28.00 mrad of elevation and 14.00 mrad of windage adjustment, giving the shooter meaningful correction range while helping prevent accidental movement. The 34 mm tube supports that adjustment range and contributes to the scope’s robust feel. Fully multicoated lenses, a fast-focus eyepiece, and a waterproof, fogproof, shockproof housing round out a design intended for practical field use rather than bench-only handling.

About US Optics

U.S. Optics was founded in 1991 in Buena Park, California, and it established its name as a U.S. maker of riflescopes and shooting optics for demanding applications. The company’s products serve the competitive, hunting, and defense-shooting communities, which explains its long focus on precise adjustments, durable construction, and reticle systems suited to real field use. Among its notable riflescope families is the SN-3, and the company also helped pioneer the low-power variable optic segment now widely known as the LPVO category.

U.S. Optics expanded its commercial off-the-shelf offerings in 2014 with lines such as the SR, ST, MR, LR, and ER series. After later ownership changes, the brand moved to Kalispell, Montana, in 2017, then joined ZRO Delta and moved to North Carolina in 2019. Its engineering team is located in Connelly Springs, North Carolina, reflecting a continued emphasis on riflescope design and mechanical development in the U.S.
