Real Avid Micro Tool - AR15

• 18-in-1 carry tool: packs a broad set of AR-15-specific functions into one compact tool, so small adjustments, basic teardown tasks and quick cleaning jobs can be handled without carrying a full bench kit.
• AR-15-specific functionality: includes tools intended for sight adjustment, takedown and bolt carrier group carbon scraping, which makes it more useful in the field than a generic pocket multi-tool.
• Micro-sized format: the palm-sized design fits easily on a keychain or in a range bag, keeping essential maintenance capability close at hand for range sessions and travel.
• Stainless steel frame: the sturdy metal construction helps the tool stand up to repeated use on pins, screws and fouled components where a lighter-duty accessory would wear faster.
• Range-ready support: built for breakdown, cleaning, adjusting and sighting-in tasks, it helps keep an AR-15 running when minor issues appear away from the workbench.

About the Micro Tool Series

Real Avid Micro Tools are built as gun-specific compact multi-tools for shooters who want practical maintenance capability in a format small enough to carry every day. Within the brand’s lineup, the series sits below larger bench and field tools, focusing on portability and immediate usefulness rather than maximum leverage or workshop-style coverage. The idea is simple: keep the most commonly needed functions close at hand for quick adjustments, basic disassembly and light cleaning at the range or in transit.

What distinguishes the series is its emphasis on platform-specific layouts instead of generic multi-tool design. Rather than offering a broad but shallow set of functions, each model is arranged around the needs of a particular firearm type. That makes the tools especially relevant for shooters who want a small accessory that still addresses real maintenance tasks. The series is also defined by its micro-sized footprint and stainless steel construction, combining pocketable dimensions with the durability needed for repeated contact with fouling, fasteners and firearm components.

About the Real Avid Micro Tool - AR15

The Real Avid Micro Tool - AR15 is tailored for shooters who want a compact support tool dedicated to the AR-15 platform. Instead of serving as a general-purpose pocket gadget, it focuses on the kinds of small but important jobs that come up during range use: making adjustments, assisting with teardown and dealing with carbon buildup. That makes it especially useful as a backup tool for range bags, rifle cases or keychains, where space is limited but readiness still matters.

Its defining advantage is the combination of 18-in-1 functionality with an AR-15-specific tool set. Real Avid describes it as suitable for breakdown, cleaning, adjusting and sighting-in, and that practical spread of functions is what gives the tool its value. A minor issue with an optic setting, a need to strip the rifle for inspection, or carbon fouling on the bolt carrier group can interrupt a session; this tool is designed to address those problems without requiring a full armorer’s kit. The inclusion of tools for sight adjustment, AR teardown and bolt carrier group carbon scraping makes it directly relevant to routine AR maintenance.

The compact format also matters in daily use. Because the tool is small enough to fit in the palm of the hand, it is easy to keep nearby rather than leaving it behind with larger equipment. Its stainless steel frame adds the rigidity and wear resistance needed for repeated use on firearm parts, helping the tool remain dependable for quick field fixes and routine touch-up work.
