Lockdown Keyed Trigger Lock

• Keyed trigger lock: A simple key-operated design keeps the firearm inoperable until the lock is removed, making it a practical choice for secure storage and controlled access.
• Heavy-duty bolt: The locking bolt secures through the trigger guard for a firm mechanical hold, helping prevent unauthorized handling during storage or transport.
• Rubberized contact pads: Protective pads reduce the risk of scratches or marring on the firearm’s finish, which is especially useful on frequently handled pistols.
• California DOJ certified: The certified design adds confidence that the lock meets recognized firearm safety-device requirements for compliant storage use.
• Compact aluminum construction: The small, durable body is easy to carry in a range bag or case while standing up to regular use as a dedicated pistol security accessory.

About the Lockdown Series

Lockdown security products are built around practical firearm storage, access control, and vault organization rather than around shooting accessories alone. Within the wider Lockdown range, keyed and combination locking solutions sit alongside handgun vaults, concealment products, lighting, and moisture-control equipment, giving owners a coordinated way to manage both security and storage. This makes the series especially relevant for users who want compact, purpose-built devices for home storage, range transport, or adding another layer of protection inside a larger safe.

The series focuses on straightforward mechanical designs, visible status, and compatibility with common firearm-storage routines. In the case of the trigger-lock line, the emphasis is on a compact external locking device that disables the firearm without requiring a large storage footprint. Features such as padded contact surfaces, keyed or combination access, and compliance-oriented design show the same philosophy seen across the Lockdown lineup: products that are easy to integrate into everyday firearm handling while helping reduce unauthorized access. For handgun owners in particular, the series offers a simple way to add security when a full vault is not the only solution in use.

About the Lockdown Keyed Trigger Lock

The Lockdown Keyed Trigger Lock is a compact gun lock designed for pistols, where quick visual confirmation and simple operation matter as much as physical security. Its keyed format suits owners who prefer a dedicated mechanical key over a dial or code, especially when the lock is used as part of a regular storage routine at home or when transporting a handgun in a case. Because the lock blocks operation at the trigger guard, it adds an immediate barrier against unauthorized handling without taking up the space of a separate safe.

The design uses a heavy-duty locking bolt to secure the two halves through the trigger guard, creating a firm hold that is difficult to defeat casually. Rubberized pads on the contact points help protect the firearm’s finish, which is important for blued, coated, or otherwise carefully maintained handguns. The green housing also makes the lock easy to identify in storage, so its status can be checked at a glance.

With its aluminum body and compact dimensions of 34.00 mm in length, this gun lock is easy to keep in a pistol case, range bag, or storage drawer. The package includes 2 keys per lock, allowing one to be kept in reserve. For owners who need a simple, portable firearm security accessory that does not complicate routine handling, this keyed trigger lock provides a direct and durable solution.

About Lockdown

Lockdown is an American Outdoor Brands brand positioned in the company’s Defender brand lane and focused on firearm security and storage solutions. The range covers more than locks alone, extending into firearm organization, lighting, and moisture-control products for safes and storage areas. That broader focus is important because it places products like the Keyed Trigger Lock within a complete storage ecosystem rather than as a standalone accessory.

The brand also develops systems such as SecureWall panels and related accessories for firearm display and storage, and it offers humidity-management products intended to protect stored firearms over time. Lockdown’s connected products can also work through the LOGIC app, which links compatible devices so one product can trigger actions in another. American Outdoor Brands is headquartered in Columbia, Missouri, United States, and Lockdown reflects that company focus on practical products for securing, organizing, and maintaining firearms and related gear.
