EOTech Vudu X 1-6x24

• 1-6x low power range: True low magnification supports fast target acquisition at close distance, while 6x gives enough reach and detail for more deliberate shots across open ground or on small targets.
• Second focal plane illuminated reticle: The reticle stays the same visual size through the zoom range, keeping the sight picture familiar and uncluttered at 1x while the red illumination helps the aiming point stand out in changing light.
• Removable throw lever: Quick magnification changes are easier under time pressure, which is useful for hunting, practical shooting, and any setup that moves between near and mid-range engagements.
• Zero Stop turrets: The scope returns to a known zero quickly after dialing, reducing the chance of coming back to the wrong setting after corrections in the field or on the range.
• Compact 30 mm design: At 261.00 mm and 505.00 g, this riflescope keeps a carbine or lightweight hunting rifle balanced without giving up the adjustment range expected from a versatile LPVO.

About the EOTech Vudu X Series

The EOTech Vudu X series sits as a more accessible, lighter branch of the broader Vudu riflescope family while keeping the practical features that matter on a working rifle. EOTECH currently offers the line in 1-6x24 and 2-12x40 formats, covering the needs of shooters who want one optic for general hunting, recreational use, and practical competition. The series is aimed at everyday shooters rather than highly specialized long-range setups, which is reflected in its compact proportions, straightforward controls, and emphasis on fast handling.

Across the line, second focal plane reticles keep the reticle visually consistent through the zoom range, a useful trait for shooters who prefer an unchanged sight picture as magnification changes. EOTECH also equips the series with illuminated reticles and a rheostat dial with 10 brightness settings plus an off position between settings, making it easier to return to a preferred illumination level without unnecessary dial rotation. The Vudu X family is also built to resist fog, water, and shock, reinforcing its role as a practical hunting optic and a durable choice for 3-Gun or general-purpose carbines.

About the EOTech Vudu X 1-6x24

The EOTech Vudu X 1-6x24 is a low power variable optic built for rifles that need to work at both close and intermediate distances. Its 1-6x magnification range makes it suitable for fast shooting on 1x, where a wide field of view helps track movement and pick up targets quickly, while 6x adds the precision needed for smaller aiming points and more careful shot placement. This makes the scope a natural fit for AR-platform rifles, hunting carbines, and practical shooting setups that are expected to do more than one job well.

The scope uses a second focal plane illuminated reticle, offered in BD1 and DP1 configurations within this model family. That layout keeps the reticle appearance consistent as magnification changes, which many shooters prefer in an LPVO because the center aiming area remains easy to read at low power. The red illumination helps the reticle stand out against dark backgrounds or in low-contrast conditions, while the generous 84.00 mm to 99.00 mm eye relief supports flexible head position and comfortable use on rifles with different stock setups.

Mechanically, the scope is designed for quick handling rather than bench-only use. A removable throw lever speeds up transitions between magnification settings, and the laser-engraved magnification ring is easier to read at a glance. The Zero Stop system adds confidence when dialing back to a known zero, while the 30 mm tube provides substantial internal adjustment travel. Its aircraft-grade aluminum construction, nitrogen filling, and fogproof, waterproof, and shockproof build make it well suited to field use where weather, recoil, and transport can all test an optic.

About Eotech

EOTECH was created in 1995 as a subsidiary of the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan, with roots tied to ERIM, which was established in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1972. The company is headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan and is best known for its work in aiming and observation systems for professional and civilian users. EOTECH introduced its first Holographic Weapon Sight at SHOT Show in 1996 in partnership with Bushnell, and those sights have been designed, developed, and manufactured in the United States since 1995.

Over time, EOTECH expanded beyond holographic sights into magnified optics and electro-optics. It introduced the Vudu riflescope line in 2016, later added the EFLX Mini Reflex Sight in 2022 as its first LED-based pistol sight, and strengthened its night-vision and digital imaging capabilities through the 2022 acquisition of Intevac’s Photonics division. That background is relevant to the Vudu X series because it shows a company with established experience in sighting systems, rugged field optics, and practical reticle design.
